There aren't many players I would like seen gone and I don't want to drag names through the mud more than I probably already did during the season. So I'll just say that we desperately need a new back up swing tackle. And we need different backup inside linebackers. :)

I would like to bring back Rozeboom as well.
That would be on a cheap deal and as a depth/ST guy.
Speights and (fill in the blank) FA could certainly massively improve the ILB play.
The Rams have not been big spendings at ILB so it will be interesting to see if they spend any money this time around.
That Hole in the middle was the Achilles heal of the Rams 2024 defense. It has to be improved in 2025.

Sign Bolton in free agency, problem solved and then upgrade CB in the draft.

He will be spendy. Rams have shown they do not want to spend at that position.

Anybody interested in Willie Gay Jr? He was a wrecking ball in college and I remember him playing very well at KC. Not sure what the issue was this year in New Orleans. He will be far cheaper then Bolton

Noteboom is gone.

Interesting tidbit - Noteboom was inactive for the game against Philly. The Rams activated AJ Acuri from the PS. and he was active instead of Noteboom.
This is the best Rams news i have read in recent memory.

That's the nicest way anybody here has ever talked about the biggest liabilities on the entire fucking roster. In fact, I want Noteboom, Reeder and Rozeboom to be residing in Canada next year playing for Grey Cups, not Super Bowls.

I won't lie, I'd like the Rams to move on from Rozeboom and Reeder (100% Reeder). The thought of Speights with a solid counter part would vastly improve the defense.
I say move on. There are younger players out there with more upside. Rather they even try to unearth another UDFA gem like Speights instead of holding on to such liabilities.

Admittedly I have not watched Bolton play a lot, but in the game against the Bills this past weekend I focused on him due to all of the love he gets on this site. Perhaps he simply had an "off" day but I left the entire Bolton experience unimpressed. I say we let some other team offer him the big contract and find a replacement for Reeder/Rozeboom elsewhere.

I watch him a fair amount, AFC West teams get tv time here in Colorado. He can be stiff at times. Average at coverage, but he's a tackling machine against the run. I'd like to see Greenlaw if possible, crap if it's not the year bring Bobby Wagner back.

Greenlaw looked great vs the Rams back from his injury......before getting re injured.
Those achillies are tough and its not uncommon to have other injuries off of those.....calf, foot etc.
That was also a slow track in the rain.
If it is determined his is 90% of his preinjury self, Id love to see Greenlaw in the middle of the D. Certainly would change the dynamic of the second level. Him teamed with Speights if the Rams ran two ILB set would be dynamic potentially.
He would cost less than Bolton as well.
Greenlaw/Speights/Rozeboom looks like a good ILB room to me.

Well it be good to get him away from the hated ones.
—Reggie ok’d T’ White and that didn’t workout well.Hard call, but he did cost his team a Superbowl last year getting hurt.

Im not sure what people don't understand about "depth".
Depth ? Yeah - I guess that goes for Sean Mcvay ?

Some of his personnel decisions with his own players makes me scratch my head.

Shelton,a’Whitterspoon,A. Jackson,Hoecht,EJ53 should have all been resigned to longer term contracts. In 2023 anyone who followed 2024 saw how those players would have added to there depth. The bought in & played hard winning football.
To have those players signed going into 2025 would’ve been nice IMO.

So yes signing Johan Jackson might have been nice ? Dotson deserved his,but think about comp picks ???
Avila was an All Pro type LG next to Alaric Jackson 2023. Shelton was a starting type center who wouldn’t have cost to much & in Fact should’ve been resigned to a multi year contract going into 2023.

I don’t know what happens, but imo it’s nice to keep your own from players who outperformed there contracts. There’s something to be said. You build through the draft & Limmer is the example.

I think Greenlaw would blow up with the front four working in front of him. Not sure those long Saquon runs happen. All JMO.

If we could wipe the Seahawk stink off of Wagner, we can surely powerwash the 49er stink off Greenlaw

Fuck that. Bobby Wagner was an elite linebacker, even at his advanced age. Greenlaw is just a dirty piece of shit who is way past his prime.
