He's fearless and physical. But he'll need to add some weight and strength to be anything like that.
definably small for a TE

I'm not convinced he is just a STs pick.(he'll need to get on the field there though...)
I think this selection is as much about giving Stafford a potential jump-ball specialist if/when he gets a shot on the field.

Reminds me of a poor mans Cooper Kupp. Only because of where he was drafted. He Looks great.

Another thing we need to look at is the fact that 3 of our top 4 WR's are in their 30's. For many reasons, it's smart o have options if something was to happen to any of them.. injury, cap $, etc. Also adding possibilities for more diverse personnel groups and not be so predictable. Boosting ST's . All of these are reasons they are making these pics. I love it.

FWIW I do watch every Notre Dame game and Skowronek made some amazing plays, plus, he was tough to catch in the open field. Big Ben is a receiver and will offer something the Rams don't have, which is size, however, I do believe if he's active, it will be limited and although I'm against drafting 5 receivers (seemed like that) Skowronek is someone I enjoyed watching and if given the chance could be a major asset down the road.

I might be mistaken, but the only WR in his 30's is Desean Jackson.

Woods is 30 in April next year. Kupp is 28. Not old, in my honest opinion, but we could see one of them traded.

Dare I say it..............Gronk like! You never know. This guy fights and wins the 50/50 balls. Maybe the hidden gem of this draft.

This might be my favorite selection in the draft. Stafford simply does better when he has a big physical WR capable of going up and making contested catches. And I think McVay found something last year with those tight WR sets with WRs blocking. I still wish that he'd consider adding a FB though.

I saw Jake Funk on the NFL network being interviewed.Thought he was a bigger RB.His thighs looked huge from where I was watching his 40 & shirt off. 203 does not cut it.
-Agree Malcom Brown was at least a bigger RB & the backups behind Akers are 10-15lbs less in 205lbs range.

Don't see it as possible in 2021. They both re-structured, and their cap hit in dead-$ would be extreme.

The Te and Wr and RB rooms are getting pretty crowded.
Not really. Jackson, Skowronek & Atwell can replace Webster, Reynolds, and Triston Jackson, who I believe was on the active roster all season. Will come down to Skowronek vs Jackson & Webster for that last spot.

Jacob Jackson will replace Hopkins and Hopkins will replace Everett.

So not seeing the crowd unless you mean being crowded with some new young prospects.

Like to see that. Came here to see if you were going to chime in.

Think he'll make the team?
Heck yeah. This kid can flat out go up and get it. He's a willing blocker too. As far as I'm concerned, after seeing the about face on Goff, the only guy on the team who's job isnt up for grabs after 2021 is Aaron Donald. Woods and Kupp both have tradable contracts after this year if they want to go that route, Jefferson doesnt have a guaranteed spot and it wouldnt surprise me if neither Higbee or Hopkins is on the team next year.

It sounds like this kid is a straight up football player.

With Harris being announced as a TE, it's funny seeing fans freak out about drafting so many WRs when one is actually a TE and then one who will do whatever he's asked to do, including probably a special teams demon.

That could be an excellent spot for him, he has the size and the blocking ability, plus being able to catch the football on the screen. I actually like this pick and believe he has some excellent skills.
