a lot to like about this guy.
- Swings 50-50 throws in his favor if given the chance.
- Excellent body extension and high-point control on jump balls.
- Catches with sudden hands when needed.
- Finishes runs after catch like a tight end.
- Loves to fire off on defenders early in game as a blocker.
- Consistent working up to back-side safety in run game.
- Size and strength to pancake on perimeter and scrap near the line.
I'd really like to see one of these bigger WR/TE's transition well and become a regular contributor. I could be wrong but i feel like there isn't alot of quality CB's with size in our division...aside from Ramsey of course.a lot to like about this guy.
This pick makes more sense if they're going to use Skowronek as a move TE.
He's fearless and physical. But he'll need to add some weight and strength to be anything like that.My question is this: can he block well enough? If so, he may be our answer to San Fran's fullback, only with less running and more catching.
