All jokes aside it's another example of why the NFL trade deadline is too early.
Even moving it out to week 9, that still only 50% of the season

Well if you saw Rivers ever in your life time you might have a different opinion.
Phillip Rivers is a pure baller & as intense as it gets.
He is seriously motivated as well.The joke is about how much college tuition he’s going to need to pay.
He can still play even with those kids.He is what The NFL calls a GUN SLINGER !!

If his arm is still good and the Colts OL can protect him, I've watched him enough against the Broncos to know even if he's 60% of his prime he could help a team......... if he doesn't get smashed.
But I still think the Colts are done...... I just hope they have one more win in them this Sunday.
This is what that franchise gets. After getting Manning and Luck... the Football gods are demanding multiple years of suffering through terrible qb play.

I don't even want to wish that upon another team..... especially a team that we need to win this weekend and next..... I'll show empathy just until after Seahawk and 9ers games in hopes the Colts can provide a Christmas miracle(s) for the Rams.
For now I will wish the colts the best of luck the next two weeks.

Hear more of gasping for air, and his heartbeat pounding like a 30" bass drum.
At the end of rivers career he could barely throw further than 20 yards with any zip on the ball. Being he's now like 6 years older i doubt his arm has gotten any better.
