I love our secondary situation. I want to re-sign Joyner, NRC, possibly Tru/Butler, and keep Webster, Peterson, maybe Hill, and draft another corner late.

This coming in the week 17 "bye week". Would be great if we got a keeper at CB & could free up a high draft pick for one of these wicked cool LB's I keep seeing on draft boards. If Snead moves up somehow & gets that LB from GA... 8-D

I'll be honest: I've never expected much from him due to his lack of wheels and a seeming inability to play the ball. But it's really nice to add his play to the silver linings in that crappy @$$ loss to the whiners.

Peterson was a badass last week, but i still want to grab a corner in the draft. That corner being Mike Hughes.

I don't know, I'd like to take a corner earlier than later in the draft, day 2 for sure maybe day 1. OFC it all has to do with BPA and what's available at the time.
The thing that confuses me is why does he have a number of #47? lol Still can't get used to that?

Thing of it is, I want to take either Mike McGlinchey (LT, Notre Dame) or Da'Ron Payne (NT, Alabama) in the first round. Then I focus on pass-rushing outside linebackers and possibly a backup running back and/or the offensive line. It helps that this is a very deep cornerback class.

I feel you, but I don't think we even get close to McGlinchey unless we trade up TBH. I wouldn't mind him at all dude is a beast! I'm kind of borderline if I want Tru to come back and if our FO will have him come back. I almost get the feeling it's either Sammy or Tru. the more I think about it and it's unlikely we spend a 2nd rounder on Sammy and don't retain him. It will be interesting to say the least.

Yeah it's gonna be tough to find a LT as late in round one as we'll be drafting. Whoever is there will be graded lower than the CB & OLB positions. Even the ILB & NT positions might have some big value there in late round one.
I want to see them get someone for the depth chart, but think it's a real low chance we see a first round OT. I don't want to see the Rams reach there, I want an impact defender.

Anyway, it's great KP picked off Jimmy G twice and Niner Nation has already appointed him as an HOF QB of all times and that the Niners are going to win the Superbowl. That was hilarious.

Yeah off the top of my head I feel like Peterson had a really boneheaded play earlier this season or maybe it was in the preseason? And really got embarrassed and had fans fuming at him... he got cut the day after the game and put on PS. I feel like I should remember but it is escaping me at the moment. Either way, hopefully this was his coming out party.

Your right I want BPA without a doubt or trade back for a 2nd and a 3rd. I'd take that. Plenty of 2nd and 3rd rounders in this draft to get great value in BPA picks.

I believe the DB Coach, Aubrey Pleasant, has a major impact on Rams DBs. Because during training camp against the Chargers, there were not that many busted coverage by Rams DBs against a very good Charger WR corp.

I would think we will see several good outside corners drafted in this upcoming draft. Would you mind so much if Snead replicated what he did in 2012 & 2014 drafts when he drafted Trumaine Johnson with the 3rd rd pick & a EJ Gaines with the 6th rd pick???
Once the dust & mud clears out in Free Agency Snead stand a good chance to have big needs @ corner. The only returning starter Kayvon Webster corner has been badly damaged this past season with two major surgeries pending (Achilles/foot & shoulder reconstruction). to add to that Webster is a UFA in 2019.
Rams could have both RFA / 2018Troy Hill & the already signed for 2018 Kevin Peterson back as the 3rd & 4th corners on the Rams roster along with Dom Hatfield as the 5th ,but they will need two starting types in the worse way through the draft.

Yeah, the guy wpuld sit for the entire year. Would makes sense to get a small school guy with great tools that could slide and let Kromer groom him.

If anything, Peterson definitely deserves more looks to see if he's a one game flash in the pan or a real gamer. His name sure kept jumping off the screen in last week's game. I like him...I hope he sticks!

Aubrey is the number 1 coach assistant to the assistant coach I don't want to lose. I hope he can be stashed back there coaching the DB's up until Wade decides to retire. Just soak up all that Wade knowledge and then he can take the reigns at Defensive Coordinator for a few years.
Edit: I don't want to lose Kromer either.
