Fisher said Quinn, Havenstein, McDonald should be ready for next week. Said fear was they could be set back for several weeks if they played
If they were able to play, I really hate that they didn't. That was a huge game against our main competition for a wild-card spot. Any one of those guys could've potentially made the difference between a W and a L.

I agree, they would have made a big difference. I don't think Vikings fans realize the huge bullet they dodged by not facing them. I mean, our offense would have sputtered still, but the run game would have likely been much better. I could see one of their tds not happening with our full defense out there.

I think, Havenstein alone, would have made the difference.

I think Quinn could have been the difference. It was a field position game the entire day. Quinn maybe frees up Donald or Brock for one 3rd down sack, could have changed the entire outcome. Offense wasn't much to write about, but they put up the points needed. If the defense could have sacked Teddy just once, who knows.

It's amazing to me that Donnal got such a bad grade, and I dislike these guys and their rankings as much as anybody, yet Fisher in tonights presser said Donnal played well enough to get a game ball if the Rams had won.

No, he really didn't. He was destroyed all game long, not solid by any mark.
I like him, but he needs a full year, or two, in a pro weight program. He wasn't strong enough, but he wasn't blowing a lot of assignments.

The line played so badly I wondered all through the game, Is there anyone even coaching these guys?

Nah, he did OK. We didn't lose because of Donal. It was a close game. He shouldn't be starting this week. Over it
I hate to be this argumentative over something so subjective, but going back and looking at the game on Game Pass, I could make a strong argument that his play was the difference in this game. Wonder why Gurley kept getting blown up behind the LOS or Foles didn't have time to throw all game long? 9 times out of 10, it was either Linval Joseph or some other DT blowing up Donnal and knifing in the backfield, ruining any offensive gameplan we thought we had outside of end-around to Tavon over and over again.

Yea, but that's not how you play .500 football.

For those of you that said Quinn or TJ could have changed the outcome, woulda shoulda coulda. Minnesota was missing key pieces of their defense as well in Sharrif Floyd and Kendricks. They still managed to make it work. We got out coached. Plain and simple. As for Donnal, I expected Whichman to get the nod. And Fisher isn't gonna destroy the guys confidence after his first game by calling him out in a press conference. He obviously wants the kid confident. Which is huge for his development.

And let me clarify myself, I'm not even really blaming Donnal. He shouldn't have been out there in the first place, imo, he clearly wasn't ready. That was a bad coaching decision to throw him out there to the wolves after practicing with Reynolds at LG and D. Williams at RT all week.
