I hope he wins the SB, because he is going to kill their salary cap. Then when he doesn't have all the weapons, everybody will say, "What is wrong with Mahomes." It's like everyone judges QBs in a vacuum.

I'm gonna stop hating on good players on other teams because of the media.

For the longest time I hated Peyton Manning and the Colts, but as I grew older I wondered, why? Because guys in suits screamed about him on tv?

Patrick Mahomes isn't even in the same conference, so I dont care. Besides the media are that boyfriend meme. Next hottie comes along and last year's darling gets left in the dark.

I dont remember the slobbering for Patrick as much this year, since it was going towards Lamar Jackson.

Exactly Psycho. AD is looking to be in the discussion after 6 seasons but still has to prove out. Though it looks like he will, he needs to finish strong. Mahomes is a great young talent but doesn't even belong in the conversation yet.

Which to me brings us to look at some of these guys that are retiring young. They just don't want to play to the point that their bodies are completely broken down. AD keeps himself in tremendous shape and seems to absolutely love football.

But you do have examples like Keuchly or Gronkowski who are or were near the very top at their position and just decided that it wasn't worth it to keep going at it. I mean it is nice for the Lucks, the Keuchlys, Gronks - they've made plenty of wealth and with smart decisions will be the better for it.

I did hear Gronk on NFL radio on my drive home today. They guy sounds like he's in the best place he's been probably since he was a pretty young man - maybe high school.

Well I mean Luck took an actual beating playing for the Colts. When they finally got a good line to put in front of him he decided his body was too fatigued.

Going through surgery (all the drugs from anesthesia to pain medication) and rehab is a fatiguing process and when you think about how many surgeries some of these guys have had in their careers - it's crazy.

I am a teacher. I am exhausted by the end of a school year. I'm done. I can't imagine if school was let out for summer and I had to go have a surgery or two every year and spend my summer in rehab.

That guy is amazing, as a pure QB there is nothing he can't do. He'd be the first QB I would pick over any QB playing right now.

I think he has the best skill set I have seen. The way he can move with a rocket arm and a quick release like Dan Marino. Plus he’s a classy and humble kid. I have to admit I am a fan of his. My best friend is a lifelong Chiefs fan so I am happy for him.

I always ask myself if a player stopped playing right at the moment this question is asked. Does he have the stats that place him at the top of everyone else who ever played? If he doesn't then he's not the GOAT..............yet. Otherwise come back in 10 years and ask again.

Hell no he isnt. Dan Marino wasn't wrong about what he said. He could be out here crushing these records. Give him these athletic tight ends and the glove technology with receivers of today...please.

PM is a fine QB. But he runs a system that makes him shine. Make no mistake about it, Dan Marino and John Elway would be destroying numbers today.

It’s funny how people are saying that the system and the players are the reason why Mahomes is good. It seems to be a little conflicting.! Just give the guy his props right now he’s at the top of his game and those players people are mentioning got better because of him the offensive line looks better because he reads defensives he calls out blitz’s and he know how to avoid the rush. Him, Breeze, Rodgers, Wilson makes the entire team better that’s what a transcendent talent at QB can do. Goff on the other hand idk he throws for a lot of yards but he’s managed too much they need to let him loose so he can actually grow and that’s on McVay
