What a bunch of whining from Mahomes and Reid. Every team has frustrating plays like this and yes, it was too bad a super nice play got wiped out. But shut up and move on - your guy was flagrantly offside!

I still am out of sorts over play perhaps in 2012, with Sam Bradford completing a 70-yard pass to Danny Amendola in OT against the 49ers to give us 1st and goal at the 2 yard line, only to have the play called back because the TE was lined up a bit off ... The game ended in a tie.

Wonder how much the league will fine their golden child and his coach.

While in general "let them play" I agree with, turning a blind eye to a foul is just wrong. How many times have we gotten a sack then they throw a flag for defensive off sides?

How about the WR just pays attention and not line up wrong, it's not that hard.

And it's not like the officials knew this play was gonna happen, they threw the flag immediately, then the play happened.
PM and the Chiefs have had plenty of flags go their way. IMO, he's just crying because if it favored them, he wouldn't say a word.
People like to say, I don't want the ref to decide the game, but if there is a penalty and they dont' call it, isn't that deciding the game. I mean, didn't the ref who didn't call block in the back on the punt return decide the game? Didn't the refs not calling an obvious PI in the chiefs game decide the game?

Well this is True, their offensive line isn't that good. The tackles have been bad grading out in the 50s on PFF. Creed at center has been good but RG Trey Smith has been average and LG Thuney has been a bit above average. Overall it's not a good group.

The WR's have had huge timely drops, problems getting open and Kelce fumbled a game away 2 weeks ago.

Remember when the Chiefs lost in the Super Bowl when their Oline fell apart at the end of the season? Imagine that team without Tyreek Hill.

I follow the Chiefs dam near as close as the Rams because my Wife is a Chiefs fan. So it my Boss and a few other people I converse with on the weekly.
If only the Rams hadn't traded Creed to the Chiefs....what would have been ~ @Loyal

Yeah he was offsides but so was Von Miller on the next play too and that didn't get called. It's the consistency problem and lack of accountability that has worn me down this season with the refs. Every week there are multiple controversies that seem to have a direct effect on the game outcome and a lot of them are blatant fuck ups that could, at the very least, be corrected by someone in the booth after the fact.
Same shit with the KC GB game… multiple calls on both sides that were wrong and very much affected the outcome of the game

Reporter: I dont recall you guys being this upset when Dee Ford's offsides negated a Tom Brady INT which would have landed you in the Superbowl?
Mahomes: Well yeah, that's because New England was paying off the ref's back then
Reporter: So why the grief now?
Mahomes: Because we pay good money to get those calls go our way !!

Mahomes said in his presser that he’s never seen it called. That exact penalty has been called 11 times this season.
And again last night. How fucking hard is it for a receiver in a standing position to see where the ball is? It would be much easier than for a lineman. Toney was clearly well past the LOS. He's the one Mahomes should be pissed at. Screw 'em. Let's see him try to win with the job the refs did on us against the crows. That was pathetic how the refs let their O-line rape our D-line and then happen to miss the two blocks in the back on that punt return. Fuck Mahomes - the little spoiled baby.

Both OTs are. The officials let KC get away with a lot. That’s a huge advantage for the OTs
Wasn't there a game this year the Rams played and the announcers on TV said the Opposing OTs were too far backwards off the line and it never got called.

I think it was the first game of the year. Announcers were picking on Juwaan whom is the RT for KC. Go figure.

Why bother enforcing any rules?

In today's NFL you have to be so good that a couple of bad calls and even blatant bad or non-calls you still can win. 49ers come to mind. man, I hate the 9ers. go rams.

Left OT is too far off the line too. That's also not legal.
This picture shows it in pretty good detail and includes the rule. Two penalties on one play. I hope Mahomes is embarrassed by his whining.

The officials aren’t enforcing the penalty so KC continues to let the OTs line up in the backfield.

This is how the NFL works. The refs throw a flag for an infraction. The player keeps doing it because they know the league doesn't want a flag fest. The refs don't throw another flag. The player keeps doing it.

So nice when people act like a jackals and have it thrown back in their face! Speaking from experience
