A lot of whiny complaining... SMH.

Many seem to think the bar of expectation is for the Rams to finish the year by winning 15 straight...?

My take: the NFL is a tough league, and if the Rams need to have an off game, I'd prefer it to be today rather than later on vs the Hawks in the game for the NFC West championship.

Rams are still in prime position. If we win out, we are guaranteed no worse than the #2 seed. To retake #1 seed, Rams need to win out and have the Bears lose one of their remaining five. Bears have four very tough opponents ahead (GB, GBagain, SF, DET). Meanwhile, Rams have 2 tough games and 3 lightweights.

Rams had an absolutely brutal November in 2021. Sometimes a loss like this can let off some steam and give them a chance to get focused for a December run.

All the ingredients are still in place for a potential championship run. A loss very well might be beneficial in the long term. Rams played poorly but fought hard.

The rest of the year is gonna be a crazy ride.

The D sucked today. Gotta figure that out quick.
The O was strong except for Staffords 3 turnovers (1 fluky int off defenders helmet, 2 on him 100%) . My take away is the Stafford/Adams combo needs to keep the pedal to the metal for the entire game. They seem to get a little slap happy after early success instead of pressing the entire game. Take a chapter out of Nacuas book.

I can’t.

We had a bad game on the road in the elements against a team playing for their lives.

McVay had his worst coaching game of the season, Stafford had by far his worst day as our QB and the defensive game plan just didn’t seem dialed in, very uncharacteristic for a Shula D.

We’re still 9-3, still #2 seed and we’re the same team we were a week ago.

Absolutely, we had a shit game seemingly in every facet and still only lost by 3.

I have every faith that we’ll refocus and bounce back. We didn’t win a single game in November when we won the Super Bowl. Anyone wanna go back and see how many people wrote us off from here during that losing streak?

Also, McVay always seems to need a game like this to get his edge back and I can guarantee he’s pissed at himself.

If anything, I’m more confident about us now than ever.

You lose 99.9% of games you're -3 in the turnovers especially when one goes for a TD.
Absolutly, but the D got run on and gave up 2 4th down over the top of the D TDs. 24 points. The O had 28 points even with the turnovers. It was a team effort.

I don't have the stomach to read through all of this. My take:

- Stafford is simply not as good outside and in the elements. While he's superman in domes, outside he is about average. Just 2 of his awful reads cost 14 points. We win without them.

- McVay; does he have too much of an ego to run the ball more or what? I cannot understand the logic of forcing the pass that much when you are having tremendous success running the ball. Had he run twice in the goal to go pick Staff threw, we may have won that game. Based on how we were running, we would have scored.

- Shula, you, sir, called an awful game. Back to the drawing board.

- Forbes came back to earth in a brutal fashion. I hope he learns from it.

The Patriots never had these issues during the Brady era. Didn’t matter the opponent or where it was. It’s inexcusable.
NE lost to Miami in Miami on a regular basis.. almost every year Brady was there

No, but if they're gonna lose it shouldn't be against that team, that way. CAR isn't that good and the Rams aren't that bad.

Can’t win every game, and I have more important fish to fry; currently in the hospital with a possible UTI. I’m just hoping I don’t stay too long.
That’s awful to hear. Hope you have a quick recovery Mems.

Carolina isn't that good...
Let's what the Rams were thinking.
And that's why you should never take any team for granted.
Especially a team that appears to be ascending and has some big upsets this year.

I just don't understand how a football team (Carolina) can look so pitiful the week before against the whiners and play like superman against us. SMH.
