The Patriots never had these issues during the Brady era. Didn’t matter the opponent or where it was. It’s inexcusable.
Our defense only stopped them when they had a holding penalty and it backed the Panthers up. Other than that our defense never stopped them.
That is possibly true, but it wouldn't be fair to this team or staff to compare them to that era.
I can’t think of too many playoff teams that can just line up and run the ball like that. Chicago can run it, and Detroit can sometimes. But Seattle, Philly, SF, Green Bay, they are all fairly pedestrian in the run game.
Whether the weather had anything to do with it, I don’t know. Buts it’s just an observation that when there is cold, rain, snow, or a combination of all of the above, the rams fumble, throw picks, and otherwise lose

2003, Brady had 4 picks and was shut out against the Bills, who were 8-8 the previous season, went 6-10 that year.
Brady won a Super Bowl that year. There’s always a once off.
They lost to them again in 2018 when Miami was 6-6 and New England was 9-3. New England went on to win the Super Bowl that year.
I was surprised by the ineffective Run D. They’d been solid all season.
