And I wouldn't be upset if Carberry went back to Stanford too.I'm ready to move on from the entire offensive line and all of their ineffective, injured backups.
Well, except maybe for Alaric Jackson and a couple of other guys.

morris wont be back next year.Morris and his uber soft prevent base defense has got to go. Either fire the dude or force him to play aggressively all season. If Morris wasn't good enough for a team like Atlanta why is he good enough for the Rams?
Why was he playing Yeast? It's clear the kid isn't ready and may never be ready.
Hill misses more tackles than Rapp but no one says shit about it? He must have missed 4 or 5 in this game alone. The guy can't cover worth shit. It's why the released him originally and what Cleveland found out as well. Of all the passes thrown tonight how many were contested? Very few is the answer. Of all the passes thrown by Mayfield how many were in tight coverage? Most of them is the answer. Morris plays a soft scheme from start to finish. Morris prays for a bad throw or a drop to save his ass.
I don't know who sucks more Skura or Havenstein. I've been saying forever that Rob is fucking slow. The book on him is speed lined up wide 9 on him beats him every time. He's too slow to stop it. McVay lining up WRs to stop a big fast edge is pure folly. This is on McVay for extending Havenstein when the dude has sucked against speed his entire career. It's also on Sean for not having a TE who can block. Higbee sucks at blocking so do all the rest of the TEs they have had including Mundt so there is no way to help Rob. Last week and this game aren't aberrations. It's how every team will play him from now on.

How can your OL have any continuity if the center of its operation is always injured & on the sideline? This has been ongoing now for some time. In 5 seasons his best & only uninjured season was 2021. Unless it does not matter about any continuity.Honestly, can we afford to? Sounds like people's woshlosh are a new left tackle, left guard, center, and right guard. That isn't feasible. Rather surround him with two capable guards and have a backup ready. Draft John Michael Schmitz to play LG and from for center maybe.
We’ll likely need to make a painful trade or two, but we still need to acquire at least two legit starters who can move defenders and provide a run threat. We might as well go full-rebuild and let Staff retire otherwise.Honestly, can we afford to? Sounds like people's woshlosh are a new left tackle, left guard, center, and right guard. While I agree with that, I seriously don't think you can expect to replace 4 guys on the offensive line in one scoop. And center would be the least of my worries. How can your OL have any continuity if the center of its operation is always injured & on the sideline? This has been ongoing now for some time. Best to find a center who can remain on the field & Coleman Shelton might be the better plan @ this point. Rams have way too much dead cap in him to dump him from the roster. In fact the Rams will be paying him millions for 2 season after his contract to play has ended.
Half the team will be off for the holidays.![]()
Brian Allen leaves game vs. Packers with calf injury
Brian Allen didn't get in a full practice session all week as he was nursing a knee injury, and he didn't last very long before going down in the first quarter against the Packers. On the Rams' second offensive play of the night, Allen suffered what's being called a calf…theramswire.usatoday.com
Are you all ready to move on from this always injured center?
I’ll respectfully disagree…Cam Akers 65 yards on 12 rushes. That’s a 5.4 Avg. The question is why did we only run him 12 times? Kyren Williams only got 2 runs..also looked good.Just didn't see anything to feel positive about.. and that's a bummer.
I guess I need to refine that... other than Leonard Floyd, I didn't see much to feel positive about.
I have been hanging on the "But.......World Champions...."
Honestly stopped doing that.
Now its...."We took the year off"
Even with the shit o-line, I think we are in the hunt with an average DC.
Our talent is stout on D.

Good call. His Jet sweeps to Tutu Atwell are getting old on its timing. The defenses are cheating on it & don’t respect the run.I’ll respectfully disagree…Cam Akers 65 yards on 12 rushes. So what is the reply about ? Didn’t Brian Allen get hurt the first play of the season?Half the team will be off for the holidays.
Problem is we need edge rushers and corners too. I'd honestly rather hit the trade market there. And we need a running back. I hate to admit it but there's just so many positions that feel necessaryWe’ll likely need to make a painful trade or two, but we still need to acquire at least two legit starters who can move defenders and provide a run threat. I still don’t know why Gaines gave up that unnecessary roughness penalty on Jalen’s strip and recovery. Was pretty bone headed
The penalties offsetting would have erased the fumble, which would have been terrible for us. But the reason they didn't offset is because the Gaines personal foul happened AFTER the play. The facemask happened DURING the play. Both penalties have to happen during the same sequence to offset (whether that's during the play or after it). We declined the facemask because accepting it would have meant erasing the fumble (as it happened before we stripped the ball). With that play …. it was a foul on GB for holding or face mask … then Ramsey achieves the strip … then Gaines has his unnecessary roughness call while the play is still going … why don’t the penalties offset? Why do we get penalised 15 yards?
Despite this I thought the refs were ordinary. What they choose to ignore and what they choose to see has a huge impact on the result.
I actually didn’t think we were that bad considering the team we had on the field. Seeing glimpses of good play from Akers, Powell, Atwell. Baker stayed tough and our D didn’t give in and got a couple of turnovers. Some of the play calling from Sean was a bit obvious IMO, and then abandoned the run again.
