Wow...I knew Brady Quinn wasn't the brightest bulb in the room but I didn't know he was downright stupid.

He opened his figurative mouth and removed all doubt. The starting point for McVay trade negotiations are your entire draft class for 10 years, and if I was the GM/owner I still wouldn't trade him.

When you're paid to fire off hot takes, sometimes you misfire.

I can't hate on BQ. He is/was fine as the straight man/co-host on the Jonas Knox Show. He's sort of in the chortling Ed McMahon role -- better than a pre-recorded laugh track. To me, his McVay thing is just disposable "Stuff"-the-Second-Banana-says. I can't take him seriously.

That being said, Bad Take Brady strikes again!
He's reading the tea leaves as well as he used to read defenses.
Haha.

It just goes to show you, looks has nothing to do with brains. Quinn is just doing a little wishful thinking.

Rumor has it that a trade for Sean McVay is actually in the works that involved three teams: Raiders, Rams and Packers.

Brady Quinn, per inside source, said it's a done deal to send Sean Mc Vay to the Raiders and Jon Gruden to the Packers and the Rams get all of the Raiders 2019, 2020 and 2021 draft picks. :-)

Harbaugh would win there, but the road would be paved with tears lol.

Now, I know everyone is saying find the next Sean McVay! And I’ve got three thoughts on that. First of all, McVay is a coaching freak—there isn’t another one. Second, it’s not like everyone was falling all over themselves to get him in December 2016. He was also considered a risk at the time. Third, everyone seems to want McVay’s offensive genius, but I think his ability to lead and relate to people is every bit as important.

I wonder if any media analysts had the foresight back then to predict mcvay would succeed. The way i remember it only rams fans were excited about the signing. I remember the experts predicting doom and gloom and a 4 win season.

What if we could get them to pickup the salary cap cost of our highest paid player for the next 20 years in addition to 20 years of their complete drafts?

Hard Pass.
