It pains me to say but the Rams right now are only better than NYG and CAR in the NFC. I expect improvements and changes but right now that’s my feel.
It's fair based on what we've seen. I bet we pick up steam.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Ram's NFL worst run defense (165 ypg) against the Packers 2nd best rushing attack (174 ypg) in the NFL

Will it be time to try something different? 8 in the box? Run blitzs? Maybe a 5 man Dline with Verse and Young as the LB's?

Or will we continue with the same Dline/LB's personnel and alignments which have produced league worst results?

A win going into the bye will do wonders for team confidence.

Man fuck all the negativity, the game is coming up so let's pray, hope, believe, and or cheer for our Rams to pull out this upset at home. Whatever the fuck floats your boat. Nobody gave us a chance against the bitch ass Whiners yet we pulled it off. We have a young defense that is still learning to play together, getting D Will back and and an offense that can move the ball. We can do this, any given Sunday!!!!

Man I just feel a big return coming in this game, punt or kickoff to really ignite our team.

Our first half scoring totals are putrid. It improved slightly vs Chicago.

Well, its my granddaughter's birthday tomorrow. There's gonna be a party for her. At 1:00. And her family are all 49er fans. Which means they will have the 49er game on. During the Rams game. And its being aired here locally. Luckily I have Youtube TV on my phone. I guess I'll be watching as much as I can till the wife tells me to take pictures when its time to blow out the candles. It better not be when we have first and goal.

GB is definitely a good running team, but not quite as scary when you consider they only have two rushing TDs so far, neither by Jacobs. And a 114 yds of rushing from Willis, plus one of those TDs, over two games that you're unlikely to get from a gimpy Love enhances that ranking quite a bit.

Flipside, the disaster in AZ forces the LAR ranking down significantly, too. Conner was probably the most consistent runner vs LAR, but those numbers only really got out of hand because of Murray's 59 and a 41 yarder by some guy named Demarcado in garbage time.

I could see the Ram ILBs getting ripped for one of those Reed sweep deals or Verse giving up an edge to Jacobs for one of those 30 yarders that have enhanced his stats quite a bit. Good runblocking OL, for sure, but so were The Whiners ; Mason 19/77, Purdy added 41. They even bottled up Swift pretty well until that long 30+ yarder.

Control the explosives & QB scrambles & it looks doable to me. Not easy with JJ3 out & teams ever more mercilessly exploiting the Reeder/Rozeboom weakness, but doable.

I believe that's the last time they can bring Smith up, next time they'd have to sign him to the 53.

I'm sorry for your troubles. That's like one of those blue/gray sons in The Civil War family stories. You can't even enjoy a Whiner loss fully since it would be a Cards win, right ? At my age, I hate effing birthdays, anyway, but that sounds brutal.

Hopefully the child is still young enough to be saved. Long term, I'd stockpile some Rams gear - they do some fun things for kids these days - so you're prepared to take advantage of the inevitable teen rebellion. Be merciless & sneaky, too. I gave my 12 year old nephew a real ram's horn that you could get a pretty obnoxious honk from. Actually a goat horn, of course, & nothing specifically Rams about it until I changed the lanyard to a blue/yellow one. That & the secret joy I got from my Faider-fan BIL flinching every time it shattered his nerves.

Full half hour since this was posted & still no "We Should Trade For Romeo Doubs ! " thread ?!

Not necessarily a big edge for LAR in itself, but in combo with DWill's activation & Ahkello getting warmed up, it can't hurt.

It would be a shame if The Rams fanned the flickering of a QB controversy into a full-blown dumpster fire, wouldn't it ? A real shame.....

We got bigger problems than wide receiver. Our biggest problem is on the defensive side of the ball. And injuries have nothing to do with it. Our defense is worst in the league is some categories and second worst in others. The front 5 is ok. The middle and back end is not ok. And its not like they're showing slow improvement. I see no improvement whatsoever. Makes me question if it will happen at all this year.

Really ? Tre W played the 11th & 12th month of his recovery from Achilles surgery on a new team, vs serious physical mismatches . Derion & Darious were out from the early TC. JJ3 down in Wk 2. Curl is a young-ish FA, new to the team. Kinchens is a 3rd round rookie in a starting role. Durant & Lake have both shown up on the injury report.

Let's see what they look like after Ahkello & Darious settle in before burying them for the season.

I got nothing for the ILBs; it's a mess. Best I can say for the GB game is they are probably better vs a power back like Jacobs than zipsters like Swift.

And the DL HAS to finish their job for the secondary to do theirs, right ?
