I will say he has been more right than wrong so far on a lot of the info that is given me but that was mostly on Commodes stuff.

I want to know if my friend is full of Bullshit or not.
Your friend is full of bullshit!!! More right than wrong on WFT stuff? Sure. They suck. Rivera is a nice guy but past his prime. Snyder is an asshole. We should have never changed our name. Wentz is gonna take us to the Superbowl! That's about an 80% accuracy rating!!!

With Wentz as QB the only bowl I see is porcelain and its just a matter of what end will be in it barfing or shitting. I can't believe people used to think Carson was better than Jared. LMAO Carson probably won't be in the NFL next year.

Other than hating Snyder, he never said any of that. And he has never said Rivera is a nice guy lol. However, he and a few guys at work would have liked Red Wolves as the team name.

He could be stating bullshit about Stafford but I would like to hear some actual news that he is starting to throw right now.

Did you ever think to ask him where he heard that news on Stafford? Tony Kornheiser? And if he actually gives you a legit reporter, ask him if it was from this year or 2010? There are 1,000's of Ram fans on multiple forums and I haven't seen one link with a report "there's concern for Stafford because he hasn't started throwing yet" or even "Stafford hasn't started throwing yet" which may be true but completely misleading. Like I said, teams are not allowed to hold work outs until mid April.

He says there was an entire article written on Stafford a little while ago that he considers a legitimate sporting site

Of course, what he considers legitimate could be pure bullshit.

Edit - but since there have been articles by doctors late last year that stated Stafford may have a time consuming recovery, I want someone to ease my concern that Stafford is throwing right now. And that is the entire reason that I have stated my concern about Stafford. Come on - someone must have heard something to the positive that he is throwing right now.

Unfortunately I may have to wait until April 17 to hear that

I think people are crapping on Robinson a little hard

I rewatched a few games specifically looking at Robinson and he was open more often than not.

But I could tell Kupp was the first read a lot of the time and Stafford had zero time to go to his second read (Robinson) with that shitty OL.
Hellfire, Staff going to Kupp so often was time, that offensive line rarely gave him time to go through his reads..

What are the odds of someone like Kupp being available at that draft slot? It is easily less than 1% of the time. So if you want to base presumption on that kind of metric sure, our entire draft and I drafted free agents could be HOFers.
If you want to say we're fucked I get it. You think we're fucked. So if we're bad you definitely can take that victory lap.

Can you give me any hope that Stafford will be okay this year. All reports so far say he hasn't thrown a football yet.
No of course and that's a big part of this equation. Him returning and playing well is critical for us to beat expectations.

If he's out it's gonna be a dismal season for sure.

I think Wentz of course is enormously talented but none of that matters when you don't take coaching. There's some rumors he thinks he knows better than the coaches and doesn't take coaching so yeah your expectation will probably prove to be correct on him.

I would take no joy in it, I don’t have enough years left for them to give them away with rosters that can’t compete.

I agree with all except Robinson and Akers. I think the rams replace those guys. Great write up.

People counted us out after 2019 too.

I guarantee we make the playoffs next year.

Oh and "the draft the draft when has that worked out?" Our picks feel awfully similar to McVays first draft...Kupp and John Johnson both played pivotal roles.

What a straight up terrible post.
2019 and 2023 are completely different and not comparable. OL alone was way better. We had a better Offense and way more talent on Defense compared to the fire sale that has gone on in this off-season.

How is this a terrible post? Oh, because you don't see it that way. Let's call it terrible to validate your view that much more? Why is it so hard to just simply disagree? I agree that we are most likely in a world of hurt this upcoming season while you obviously see otherwise. That's ok too, but I think you are wrong in giving a guarantee that we'll be in the playoffs but I won't call your post terrible to validate mine. I'll just simply say we lost so many players, it'll be hard to recover from that. If we do suck this year, I hope it's #1 pick of the draft suck as I'd want thar high ass #1 pick for the QB of the future vs a middling record for a middle round pick. The hope is we find some talented ascending youngsters to further supplement our upcoming FA spending spree in 2024.

math was never my strong suit , but just how many players do the Rams still have left of the active roster ?

can't be more then about 6
Clearly not your strong suit when you come up with a number like 6. Obviously reading must challenge you as well.

yea I watch every game regardless of our suckage.

I expect us too fully suck bad but would love to be pleasantly surprised by some unexpected success, especially if it’s due to a bunch of rookies and backups.

Don’t expect more then a few wins but roster talent isn’t always the deciding factor every Sunday.

That's fair, I am frustrated by how people on here are so focused on the negative.

A healthy Stafford, Kupp and AD - whatever else we lost - guarantees a better season than last year. That's arguably the best offensive (non QB) and defensive players in the entire league.

Throw in that we clearly didn't have that same hunger, were hung over, not ready for the season and quite literally experienced record breaking OL injuries...

Pretty obvious to me that we will be a good team.

If you are right I won't be mad either as it would mean we had some serious growth from unexpected players. Our offense should definitely be better but honestly Stafford nor Kupp were the issue, it was our o-line. I just don't think they are that good. I'm concerned they, at the moment, are relying on 2 extremely injury prone players in Allen and Noteboom. Having them there pretty much guarantees we'll be playing musical chairs again because they'll get hurt as usual. I could be wrong and we go after reinforcements there but I don't see it. The defense has been gutted so bad it's expected to see a big step back as younger players attempt to find their way in bigger roles. That puts so much stress on our offense to be damn near perfect to give us a winning chance. I'm definitely not trying to be negative but I also can't ignore the mass exodus of players we've had. I think you are correct about the hunger being there but that alone doesn't get us wins. We need more talent and it seems like the Rams are looking to go after that talent in 2024 and use 2023 to see what young players show they will contribute for the future.

One note here too re: the wideouts is that Tutu getting slot time affects Kupp. That was one of the probs in drafting him too, that if Tutu had been a bigger guy who could play outside things would look different.

But I think Kupp moving outside for more snaps is minimal given McVay's pass game creativity. Tutu just feels important this season. Either him or Jefferson need to step up big.

What happens to Robinson?
