Agreed. His attitude is a poor fit.
I'd disagree. Besides his dumbass incident with the cops, he hasn't done much to get im trouble. We have Robinson who had a DUI like a dumb ass. I'd think differently if he was always getting into some shit. Sorry, I could care less about "4 pillars" per se.

Aside from all of his kids to various women and his abusive past, he just said “I'm out, bro. It was great playing here, but at the end of the day I got to do what's best for my career. I'm too much of a competitor to be — just out there."

He doesn’t sound like a ‘we not me’ type imo

So do you truly know why he's out? It's also been reported that McDaniels had a shitty culture set up there as well. There's more going on in Miami then we see. He could have blasted that but he didn't. Ramsey also faked an injury to get here. Guess he wasn't "we not me" material? :laugh1:Sorry to say, at the end of the day, I believe our coach has way better control of his locker room and could more than handle Tyreek Hill.

*shrug*. When you add up all of the parts it seems to paint a pretty clear picture.

As for McVay, we just saw him run a good, injured linebacker, and team leader, out of town because he felt he came in unprepared. This was a players the Tams really could have used this season.

It sounds like he has some rigid guidelines he follows.

Well that's the beauty of McVay. He's such a strong leader that I'm sure no matter who comes to our team he lays that down as a line not to cross. If he deems it that Hill can do just that, then he'd be a dangerous weapon for our offense. If not, I'm sure he'll figure it out. Hill did say something AD told McVay tho, just make sure they give a damn.

North of 10m/yr I'd assume. Probably closer to 12m.

I remember really wanting Willie Gay Jr in the draft and then he played very well for KC. He was on the 'Aints last season and it appears he didn't even start. I'd certainly see what he would cost.
$10-12M for a guy who can make a big difference in the middle of the D makes sense to me.

It’s extremely difficult to hit someone in stride full speed on every go route, especially if you’re maneuvering the pocket and can’t step up.

That passes to Robinson is about as good as it gets, especially while rolling to the left. You’re talking about a margin of 5 yards, it’s not like he’s overthrowing like Caleb Williams or throwing flat balls like the Goff INT to Williams in the wildcard.

The pass to Puka and Robinson deep this past game, and the deep ball to Kupp against Bucs under pressure are examples of beauties that Stafford throws a well.

The receiver needs to read and adjust. Hill knows when to show his hands and hit the brakes. He made ppl think that Tua was actually decent in 2023.
I don't disagree with a lot of that.....but.....many of his deep balls are under thrown.

Agreed.

Stafford is better with bigger bodies, bigger catch targets.

That's why I'm all in on them paying Tee Higgins. I was happy to hear they heavily pursued Mike Evans last year.
what do you think Higgins will demand?

Sounds like people think 19 a year is the floor. Expect someone with Patriot money to blow the doors off and get him. Gonna be a bidding war.
Yeah, I have a hard time paying that much a WR.
They an certainly have massive impacts, but, as we saw with Jefferson in the playoffs other things have to right for a WR to make their impact.
For that $19-25M, or whatever it end up being, the Rams could land an ILB of their choice and a couple of other players.....a WR, CB or FA resignings of their own.

Ideally the Rams will double up at dynamic pass catchers in the draft this year using FA resources elsewhere as I don't know that we'll find what we need in FA.

To me it seemed like he missed him 75+% of the times he targeted him. I only remember DJax making 2 long catches for us.

I agree.

In fact, it appears that one of the reasons that DJax was shipped out of town - apart from not blocking and jogging when used as a decoy - was for criticizing the fact that Stafford was underthrowing him when he was open on those deep routes.

The same thing happened to Tutu Atwell, who was also underthrown, despite being behind his defender.

There are no safeties and few corners that can stay with Atwell deep, yet the ball was rarely thrown to him on those deep routes, only intermediate crossers and outs.

As great as he is, I am not sure if Stafford's accuracy or range on those deep routes has dropped off and he's not confident in those throws, but it's noticeable how infrequently he even attempts them now.

Whatever you would offer tee Higgins.. add 5 mil and offer to Tyreek. Higgins is always hurt.. and Tyreek, although older is on a complete other level. And honestly you've only got a year or 2 left for Stafford. Might as well put all your chips in again for another run before it's too late

Tyreek is not a FA so that would require a trade. And while talented he’s got baggage off the field.

Tyreek is under contract in Miami so that requires money and picks.
