Yeah but I still think Morris will implement a soft zone defense this yearCurrently we are undefeated!

This time of year, I think it's OK to be optimistic, I can be bummed out at a later time.Yeah but I still think Morris will implement a soft zone defense this year
I stick with Realist which means I can be either optimistic or pessimisticThis time of year, I think it's OK to be optimistic, I can be bummed out at a later time.

one thing, I am sure that what Morris does, he does with McVay's approval.I stick with Realist which means I can be either optimistic or pessimistic
And unfortunately I am pessimistic when it comes to Morris defense approach
But I think with this type of team, soft zone may be the right defense for this team
The receiving Corp isn’t too impressive. Aside from Kupp, they have a few JAGs.
That is the key to next year's offensetutu showed he was a weapon last season. if stafford has time tutu can be a big playmaker for the rams.
Yeah but I bet it also depends on what the DC is comfortable with.one thing, I am sure that what Morris does, he does with McVay's approval.

remember the ZEN master, "we shall see"Yeah but I bet it also depends on what the DC is comfortable with.
At one time - McVay said he wanted an aggressive defense but now we are going in an opposite direction with Morris
I could also see us doing mid year trades for vets when we are still in contention for the playoffs (and yes I said when)Looking at this depth chart really shows what is needed if we really want to compete this year as opposed to just being competitive, if that makes sense.
This team needs veteran help on the inside of the defensive line and up the middle linebacker help, along with a veteran corner and safety. Four league-average vets and this team can actually compete.
Now, between salary cap stuff and a stated intent to go for it in 2024, do I think they'll bring in those four guys?
Likely no. But could still bring in 1-2 of them after their first camps wrap up.
I think it's likely the only notable moves that they would make is if its for a player that can help them for a number of yrs. Like they did with Ramsey in 19'.Looking at this depth chart really shows what is needed if we really want to compete this year as opposed to just being competitive, if that makes sense.

If they are not looking like contenders I’d rather they keep their draft picks in the case that they want to trade up for one of the top two QBs in the 2024 draft.I could also see us doing mid year trades for vets when we are still in contention for the playoffs (and yes I said when)
That's for people who say Realists are actually Pessimists in Denial
Between Dunn & Brown, they both are similar in leg strength. In fact, if we needed to kick a 59 yard FG they might actually let the Punter Evans give a shot, since he did both FG's & Punts at Wingate.Who has the longer leg ?
Fantastic is not what I’d call him. Van played well when healthy but he won’t scare any DBs or their DC.i disagree.
van looked fantastic with stafford. by the time he came back last season he had wolford and perkins stinking it up.
tutu showed he was a weapon last season. if stafford has time tutu can be a big playmaker for the rams.
.
I wouldn't want top vets - just someone who can come in and keep the young players in lineIf they are not looking like contenders I’d rather they keep their draft picks in the case that they want to trade up for one of the top two QBs in the 2024 draft.
At best this team looks like it may be a wild card team. Make the big moves once the Super Bowl window is more wide open.
