The comments...:ROFLMAO:

Offensive lineman's nightmare. Takes too long to set up and throw. Long passes and intermediate passes show great accuracy, but how is she on short range check-down passes. Also, she doesn't go through her progressions. She locks onto one target and never scans the field. I wouldn't trade more than four 1st round picks for her. :sneaky:

I was impressed by Romo’s observation that Goff could finish his entire throwing motion “even if he were in a phone booth.” Real compact, tight delivery, no wasted motion. Doesn’t need a big windup, doesn’t need to take a big step forward, just BOOM and release.

Jared's mechanics are no mistake either, btw. He's consistently worked in his offseason with the best in the biz to ensure he's on point. That on top of his natural gifts puts him in an elite class just on the physical throwing side, not to mention his study of the game and advantage of having the best offensive mind in the league as his head coach. Man are we blessed to be able to watch him and McVay grow together.

IMO the one thing he needs most to continue working on is his throwing motion on the run. His accuracy on the run has been his biggest problem and it relates back to those mechanics.

Agree with all of this of course. Goff has exceptional natural talent, willingness to work with qb guru Tom House, obsessive film study, great coaching, great scheme, strong teammates, everything.

For me, the only missing aspect of his game is experience in leading team to comeback wins in crunch time. Performing under excruciating pressure is a specific skill. Will be fascinating to watch Goff develop.

That's likely it. Doesn't have to generate the same torque to throw it, which shortens his motion. Part of it is also tied to stride length.
Impossible. I have it from a pretty good authority Goff doesn't have a strong arm.

Great pics, love how high jared is holding the ball. Should prevent fumbles and make his release even faster . Crazy how hard he can spin it without having to wind up .
