Okay...

Not building for the future...

It's one season and you need a QB.

Who do you pick out of these three, and why?

Tannehill. Dude just keeps getting better every year, and he's hard to rattle.

Today? Tannebust. Guy is coming off a very good season, playing behind the only OL that can compete with the Rams for worst in the league, with only Mike Wallace to throw to. Can't wait to see him throwing to Parker and a more experienced Landry. Although they haven't done much to improve that OL :(.

Tannehill.

He's got great size, a good arm, and he's a pretty good scrambler. Very durable as well.

I'm assuming all other parts of the offense are up to par....

I'd take Alex Smith. Dude doesn't throw many INTs.

I bet he'd be fine with Kenny Britt, Tavon Austin, Sted Bailey, Jared Cook, etc.

Alex Smith, perfect game manager and if we're not building for the future he's perfect for 1 season imo.
If I was building for the future, Tannehill.

Glad to see someone break the "group think".

Dalton, at least we are guaranteed playoffs. Who cares if we win when we get there am I right??

But for real I'd take Smith.

It's not that hard to not throw many INTs when you rarely throw the ball more than 10 yards.

Last 2 seasons Ryan Tannehill had 87 passes go for 20+ yards and 14 for 40+ yards.

Alex Smith had 82 for 20+ yards and 9 for 40+ yards. And that's with KC's receiving group.

If you wanna play the YPA game, that too, is a wash. Ryan Tannehill had 6.9 and 6.7 last 2 years, while Alex Smith had 7.0 and 6.5.

I think I might go Dalton. Really, his only consistent weapon has been AJ Green and the results have been playoffs.

I think with this defense, and a game plan that isn't simply chuck it to Green, he'd perform just fine.

That's like saying the only gun truck you have has a minigun mounted. Sure it might only be one, but its a pretty big damn weapon.

Yeah but the other two have had no consistent weapons. Give Tannehill an AJ Green and see how well he does.

For the Rams I think the results for all would be the same. I would go with Tannehill just because he can do a little more than the other two
