Would you sign Brandon Aubrey and i know it sounds ridiculous but what a weapon. The guy can give you pts instead of a punt. Mevis was fantastic but can he hit the Bombs like Aubrey?? Probably wont happen but im drinking and dreaming. Probably shouldn’t be but fuck it. While im at it I would l love to see Mike Evans in horns. Yea i know.. idiot right? ✌

He wants in the 8 to 10 mill a year range. Plus they might tag him. BTW he missed 6 kicks last year. Kickers can be like relief pitchers in baseball. One year unhittable and the next not so much. I'd be leery about loosing draft picks or that much of the cap to a kicker.

Not Aubrey because Dallas will franchise him, but Daniel Carlson of the Raiders would be a good move IMO along with their long snapper too.

I can tell you that what’s on your mind is far less dangerous than what’s on my mind.

We'd legitimately score 35 ppg with him on the team. Imagine you're an opponent and you have a 2 point lead with 40 seconds left. You have to stop Stafford and Aubrey. Might've helped in the NFC championship. Mcvay kicks the field goal. We get the ball back with some change left and Stafford gets us down to at least try it.

He wants $10 mil a season:wow2:..... I don't think the Rams spent nearly that much combined on all of ST's personnel.

They are Franchise tagging Pickens

That aside, he's going to be the highest paid kicker of all time, and our kicker made 51 of 52 kicks so we're good

Aubrey is a Restricted free agent.

If Dallas does not work out a long term deal, it will give him a high round tender offer … maybe a first round pick.

Does anyone here think it’s a good idea for the Rams to give up their 29th overall pick; Plus, a contract north of $10M per-year for Brandon Aubrey?

I don’t.

Remember, Dallas could also just match any offer.

The Rams have a better chance of acquiring her to be their 2026 place-kicker, than Brandon Aubrey.
We solved a big problem mid-season when we sign Mevis.
Kicker does not even make my top 25 list of problems I think we have.
Even Mevis' 50 yarder looked like it could have been good from a longer distance.
Those big legs of Mevis are working out fine so far.
Now on to the real problems. ;)

Agree but my problem has nothing to do with the place-kicker position.

Seemed like a couple posters think Aubrey is an Unrestricted Free Agent, when he is a Restricted Free Agent.

HUGE Difference.

And he wants $10M a year. I read that is what the agent has asked for.
