When you make it to the big time stage you damn sure need to reevaluate your closest friends. I hope this is lesson well learned for the team about what friends to keep around and which ones are competent enough to let drive your vehicle.

Did this Cool Cat friend of Tavon's even have a valid license?

Meh, Tavon shouldn't lend his car to friends, otherwise I don't see why it'd be his fault, he wasn't doing anything, don't see why it's even news.

Once (1987) lent my truck to a friend who said he had some things to move...he got pulled over for DUI with 3 lbs of weed and half ounce of coke

He said he used my truck because the cops had his plates flagged. Cost me 2k to get my truck out of impoundment

It depends upon what the alleged offenses are, what the background of the defendant is (flight risk? etc.) and what the judge and jurisdiction are relating to law and order. Are they strict? Lenient?

Several variables involved.

Did he pay you back, or give you free weed for life?

I was almost convinced it was Tavon driving and I wasn't going to be surprised honestly.

Well, that's his lesson on NOT lending expensive items to friends. I sure as fuck wouldn't let a friend borrow a luxury vehicle, especially if I'm a public figure. You just never know what kind of BS will happen.
