The Pittsburgh Steelers select...

Quinten Rollins CB Miami(OH)

Very nice pick and one I was considering at 49.

I'm a little undecided how to move forward now. I know some will be wanting a QB at this pick but I just can't justify a pick for the QB's left here at 49. I wouldn't have taken Hundley had he been here and Petty doesn't light my fire either. The OL has been addressed and although QB is a dire need, I'm not going to make a pick based on need in what I think is a shallow draft overall (not just for QB's). So I had a couple of what I call 'luxury' picks in mind here in areas where perhaps we don't exactly need more help but could perhaps improve the overall talent on the team. It's my draft strategy that in the early rounds especially, that should be your mantra.

So, with a power based OLine and Snisher's desire to pound the rock, the St Louis Rams select

Jay Ajayi RB Boise St.

He is a poor mans' Marshawn Lynch. He is a 3 down back with nice hands out of the backfield to complement his ability to gain yards after contact. In my opinion and will ease the load on Tre who whilst I admire considerably, does worry me a little if he asked to tote the rock too much purely from a durability standpoint.

Damn, I'm on the clock? Well...I'll take the best player on the board and insurance for Spiller:

With the fiftieth pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select...Duke Johnson, running back out of Miami.

Good pick my man.. I even had him considered as a 1st rounder for the Eagles when I was picking.. He'll need some work, but man he is "a worker" and his passion.. Good choice. :)

Hell of a choice. Rollins is the best cornerback in the draft, in my opinion.

Well I missed out on basically everyone I was targeting in for my 2nd round pick. But still some good prospects out there. It was a toss up between two players, but I believe this guy will be a much bigger help than the other guy I like. They decide to beef up their O-line to open some big holes for Gurley and Foster

With the #51'st pick in the 2015 ROD draft, the Texans select DJ Humphries OT, Fla. Can be plugged in as a guard and eventual starter at tackle next year when one leaves in FA.

Also, I'd like to announce that Sammy Watkins is on the trade block. I'm looking for a second round pick and a third.

Great pick...Was thinking of going that way for the Browns, but wanted to get stronger at a skill position.

That would have been infuriating..

I've been trying to trade up for him, I must have offered like 10 different people my 2nd and 3rd rounders to move up. I finally give up, hoping he falls, and then you trade up to take him...:mad::mad:

Good pick though.

lol. I made the trade up public, bruh. You just didn't respond fast enough and @jrry32 stole it.

Yea, he's somewhat raw but I really like him as a scheme fit for Pittsburgh. They still run a lot of bump and run with their zone heavy scheme. Think he's a great fit in that role. I've been trying to trade up for him since my last pick since I really struggled with whether to take him or Eli Harold.

For what it's worth, I've been trying to do the same thing. :)

With the 52nd pick in the draft the Shegals take OLB Bud Dupree. Big need for them and he's going to help them.

Memento knowing I'm right:
Um...Dupree is long gone...to the Seahags.
And that's why he's really going to help the Shegals out.

Sorry, that list is really hard to read for me.

Let's try this one Instead:

FS Derron Smith
ANALYSIS
STRENGTHS

Productive four-year starter. Modern-day safety with the ability to play near line or in single-high coverage. Easy mover. Has outstanding coverage skills and can mirror in coverage over the slot. Can be physical. Former high school quarterback with above-average football intelligence. Instinctive with plus field vision and ability to track ball. Outstanding ball skills with playmaking potential. Thirteen interceptions over sophomore and junior season. Burst to close on boundary throws down the field.
WEAKNESSES
Tried to do too much in 2014 for inconsistent Fresno State defense. Ventured beyond prescribed area with mixed results. Will take questionable angles to the ball against run and pass. Undersized. Short-armed with limited high-point ability. Overly reliant on body positioning against big receivers when ball is in the air. NFL tight ends are too big for him in coverage. Too wild as a tackler. Saw his broken- and missed-tackle stats spike.
NFL COMPARISON
Marcus Gilchrist

BOTTOM LINE

Lacks ideal size for the position, but checks off just about every other box teams will be looking for. Smith's ability to match up in space against slot receivers and his willingness to get downhill and tackle will be coveted. Smith must learn to play under control as a tackler, but he should have a shot to come in and compete for a starting-safety or slot-corner job quickly.
