Im just saying that is the only way to cover a WR line up like that.
Oh, okay. My apologies if I was rude.

Pure Mizzou jealousy!Better them than the Kansas Chickenhawks.
(Note that I'm not putting it in blue. They don't deserve a blue font.)

Personally, I will be thrilled if OBJ returns to the Rams but I am assuming it is all going to depend on the MONEY!!!
The Rams have a lot of guys to sign next year. The Rams made him an offer months ago basically the same structure as last year and he turned it down. He wants a regular multi year deal probably in the $13M/yr range. He can probably get that from the Bills. iMO the Rams solved their WR problem with Robinson, the rise of Tutu and McCutcheon. OBJ was Woods replacement, but that's now filled with Robinson.
The Rams now have other priorities next year. I'd rather have Gaines on an extension rather than an aging, injury prone WR. Look at the list of Ram FA next year. Now look at their cap right now. They have $2.5M in cap space which is half of what a team normally wants to start a season. Any injury will make it difficult to replace during the season. This is a business and as such they still are subject to the fiscal needs of the business. OBJ had his opportunity and muffed it because he got greedy. So now he will go join his good buddy Miller in Buffalo. Playing on that frozen field will be great for his bad knees.
The Rams gave him the opportunity to get his ring. So much for loyalty, by pricing himself out of the market. So much for him saying last year he would give the Rams a hometown discount to re-sign.
Show me where this is anywhere close to reality please. I've watched almost every Rams presser and follow all their beat writers and never once has any info on them offering him a contract let alone the structure of said offer has ever been mentioned. The Rams have a lot of guys to sign next year. Yes. Inquiring minds want to know.Show me where this is anywhere close to reality please. I've watched almost every Rams presser and follow all their beat writers and never once has any info on them offering him a contract let alone the structure of said offer has ever been mentioned.
I think it was in the press conference when they said they were going to get rid of Rob Havenstein.Show me where this is anywhere close to reality please. Spot on about the value he brings after two surgeries to the same knee. Everyone is assuming he will come back in be in perfect shape well noone know at this point.OBJ is silky smooth with his routes and so strong-handed. He catches everything in his vicinity, seemingly regardless of the degree of difficulty. I'd love him back if the money works.
Even if guys like Jefferson and Atwell can take that next step, they cannot bring what OBJ does, so I do not think their development would necessarily preclude the Rams from offering another contract to Odell.
OBJ can do it all. He can be a game breaker from the slot, on the outside, high-pointing balls as an end-zone threat, serving as a fade threat, dominating on crossing routes, dominating on deep routes, taking a jet sweep to the house, you name it. He also will demand far more respect from opposing defenses in terms of how they scheme. Players like Jefferson and Atwell have their own strengths too, but they will never provide the total like package OBJ does. I was even surprised by his blocking ability and willingness as a supposed diva.
EDIT - My only concern is his effectiveness post-injury. 2 ACL tears in the same knee in less than 1 year, at his age no less, which is young in absolute terms (which I think will help a lot) but getting up there for a WR at the NFL level, is no joke. Will he be the same? If yes, how long will it take for him to return to form and have full confidence in his surgically repaired knee? The money would have to reflect the risk, but I would not bet against him.
No there is no way but on that we do have some reporting by the doctor or doctors that his ACL is actually better now because the went ahead and fixed what was actually botched first go around. It is shitty cause had it been done rt the first time this whole thread probably doesn't exist alas it's Cleveland that can't get anything right.Spot on about the value he brings after two surgeries 5o the same knee. Honestly I would start McCutchen against Buffalo. I truly think he is that good another Kupp who slipped through the cracks.I think it all depends on how Atwell, Jefferson, and maybe McCutcheon produce on the field.
If one or more of them explode then I would think OBJ becomes unnecessary.
But if all are just so-so then I think OBJ becomes a high priority for the Rams.
Get back to me in late October, IOW.
McClutch showed great athletic skill but I doubt he has fully comprehended thrr Red playbook and he’s never played against NFL first team defensive players.Honestly I would start McCutchen against Buffalo. I truly think he is that good another Kupp who slipped through the cracks.
Looks like he's just been lifting a lot and not being able to run much lately. Dude had to put on like 10+ lbs.

Every report also says the knee is better than when we signed him last year. Double ACL injuries are a crap shoot let alone just one but they say he's doing great.Spot on about the value he brings after two surgeries to the same knee.
