It's called good sportsmanship. Celebrating your success should be enough. Taughting is classless. They should limit the celebration as well. Example, They could hi 5, chest bump, shit like that on the way to the sideline. No need to run all the way down to the end zone to pose.

I miss the fun bunch and SJ39 Dice roll.

I don't like the taunting. Have some class when you make a play.

Taunting no. I agree that shit is classless even if it does feel good for the play maker.

Group celebrations though are fine. Celebrations period are fine. If a player gets butt hurt from that, well, get better dude.

This, but my bigger issue is that refs will think some things are taunting when they aren't and that shit can impact games

It will become a judgement call and some refs may throw it more than other refs.

I think this just gives Vinobitch another way to throw a game against the Rams.

Which Ram was it that got a taunting penalty and it turned out the guys were good friends and just ribbing each other. It didn’t even look like taunting, they were both laughing.

Fuck that classy shit, I want to be entertained! As long as it's nothing disrespectful like taking a shit or mooning the crowd, let the players have some fun. Kids like it when the players dance too, there's a reason OBJ is a favorite amongst the youth.

I'd feel better about this if they come out with a clear definition of something like "taunting is when a player stands over another player" - that's really the only one I want to go away.

Throwing a flag for Tyreek Hill doing the peace sign when he goes the distance is going to infuriate me.

That’s it. I knew someone would have a better memory than me. That was such a BS flag. As if they were trying to find a reason to help the Eagles.

Interpretation is the problem. It’s better to get rid of, or keep all taunting so the refs cannot selectively use it against a team.

Edit: I vote for allowing it over doing away with it all. That’s from a guy who has taught his kid not to taunt and just celebrate with your teammates with high fives.

Ramsey is going to get tossed every game! Oh crap!
I actually worry about this. It’s the first player I thought of.

Refs could literally throw a flag any time they want to if instructed which team is not supposed to win. (Not trying to start that convo back up, btw)

So if you got a guy like Ramsey who chatters a lot and loves to gloat, he’s open to a flag on any play that he makes.

Conversely, if an opposing team gets the flag for taunting and Ramsey is clearly taunting then it looks like playing favorites.

This opens a Pandora’s box, but the league likely prefers that.

McAfee is fun to listen to. He keeps it real.

Hard to believe that he was a fucking kicker.

As long as every officiating crew interprets and enforces it the same I have no problem with it. We know it won't be though and some teams will pay the price even lose games for being punished for what other teams and players will get away with and it'll be a clusterfuck.
