I thought he also suffered a shoulder injury during the season.

If true - having a shoulder injury and biceps injury - no wonder he wasn't playing at a high level like he was in 2021

Torn labrum. That is a shoulder injury. Holds the shoulder joint in the socket. Bicep tendon attaches at the top of the shoulder as well. That would also cause a lot of the shoulder muscles to become painful, damaged and sore trying to hold that shoulder joint together.
