Love it. He's a good player... and the Rams are the best for fit him.

Demetrius Rhaney, Center
Tennessee

Strengths
Very good quickness, agility and balance. Gets into blocks quickly and keeps battling through the whistle (see fourth play of second quarter vs. Bethune when loses helmet). Runs his feet on contact. Good lower-body power. Can wall off and seal short areas. Efficient working up a level. Solid anchor in pass protection.

Weaknesses
Average arm length and overall athletic ability. Could do a better job gauging his power on the move and connecting with moving targets.

Draft Projection
Rounds 5-6

Bottom Line
A compactly built, light-footed pivot who elevated his draft standing after clocking sub-5.0 40 times at his pro-day workout. Has the size, power and agility to eventually compete for a starting job.

249. Michael Sam, DE, Missouri: A Grade
It's ridiculous that Michael Sam lasted this long. He was the SEC Defensive Player of the Year. Sure, he doesn't have the measurables, but he can be a very good situational pass-rusher, and those type of players go in Rounds 4-5, which is where Sam should have gone. The Rams are getting great value at this spot, and as Jeff Fisher said before the draft began, you can never have enough pass-rushers.

250. Demetrius Rhaney, C, Tennessee State: C Grade
Nothing wrong with offensive line depth, and the Rams need plenty of it. Demetrius Rhaney wasn't viewed as a draftable player, but it's Pick No. 250, so who cares?

LOL! If Sam makes the squad, Goodel tells the refs to be nice to the team with the gay guy.

But the chance of him making the team are slim to none. Who would they cut to make a spot for him...... (Yeah, I almost said "who is he going to beat out......)

I nominate losing the perpetual head case, and outta control Ray Ray... This guy has more character in his little finger than that knucklehead has. Special Teams stud.

Or Sammy Brown who has done NOTHING but collect a paycheck off the inured reserve list.

The Rams locker room is probably the best place for him. We have some of the least judgmental and great guys in the NFL. His sexuality won't be an issue.

I just dont want this sideshow for a 7th round pick that will only make the team by cutting a better player.
