I see the Jets are favored over the Rams by 3 1/2 points- I get the Jets are at home.

It’s good to be the better team AND favored to lose. Only adds incentive.

I don't get Florida. Or any state that is flat, flat and FLAT. Even with all the sunny days, if a highway overpass is the highest elevation its not for me.
If I can not look up and see some hills-mountains with trees on them I start to feel out of sorts after a few days.

I love your part of the country @gogoat1 , it is amazingly beautiful. I've been there a few times and cannot wait to go back! It will just have to be in the summer though! My south FL blood cannot handle low temperatures.

Then I checked again and the Rams were favored by about 3 to 3 1/2 points.
So either I am functionally blind (very possible) or the web site had it reversed.

My theory on that is the split home attendance.

On the road, there’s no distraction. They know what they’re going to get in the stands.

Just a theory.

The big domino that needs to fall, just like GB losing in 21' to the Niners, will be having the Commodes knock off the Eagles in round 1.

If that happens, you avoid a very difficult cold game match up in Philly, and instead you get a 2nd home game. Then, if Detroit gets beat by the Vikings/NFC South winner, then you get a chance at host the NFCCG. Or worse case you go into Detroit to play a less than 100% Lions squad.

So that Commodes/Philly game is huge. Having said that, not saying the Rams can't win in Philly, in fact you jump on them early and the crowd can turn on them quick. So that can still be a win, maybe only 30% though.

I think you could be the only person, in the history of time, that has moved FROM Florida TO the Midwest.

Actually, my mortgage broker and real estate agent are also surprised how many are now moving up here. We weren’t the first by any stretch, but it’s beginning to be a thing and more folks in real estate are focusing on relos from Florida.

And I LOVE IT. Honestly, I feel so thankful. With a good coat and good boots and some solid preparation, it’s really no big deal. Folks act like we have to sleep in tents in -40 degree weather.

I get wanting to be in warm weather. I was born and raised in SoCal and lived in Florida for 16 years.

But I’m loving the seasons. Peace to the palm tree people.
