Imagine how horrible that defense would've been without all these huge free agents that are so good?

Irvin had 7 sacks and Nelson had 5 ints and played well. Adding quality FAs to drafting well has turned it around for sure, I dont think anyone is saying its all free agents or just grab everyone. More like finding the ones that fit in your system that dont break the bank, ie not Albert Haynseworth type of acquisitions.

The Giants free agent acquisitions absolutely turned this defense around. They went from 30th in points allowed last year to 2nd this year.
