Against the Vikings he got conservative after a defensive stop in the end of the first half ?? It’s all how you want to look at it.

Look forward to Mcvays offense though with Kupp & Pucka to finish out the season.

And.. Tennessee is having a fire sale and turned him for a profit, because he was playing so well... although his PFF grade and his counting stats are remarkably similar to Troy Reeder's.

So there’s no chance that Jones play regressed below Reeder and Rozeboom. It also doesn’t look like the knee was going to be a short term issue. So there was likely a personal conflict. Either McVay didn’t like Jones attitude especially as a leader on defense -or- Jones camp made a big issue of not getting extended. It’s done now so what can Rams do to strengthen the ILB. Speights is a start but I’d like to see another addition.

Devin White was out there for 10 days before signing with Houston. His cap hit is under $700,000.

Jamin Davis was out there for a week before signing with Green Bay ... to the Practice Squad.

The Rams seem satisfied with what they got. For the life of me, I can't figure-put why.

To say it in a more polite way, it took way too long for the coaching staff to put Speights in. He did better than Reeder and Rozeboom who both are bench players and not true starters. Also everytime someone says to relax, this happens lol......

I call BS & coach should(Mcvay) let his OC play call.The defense has done its job all season.

I still call BS though because it’s not Rosenboom or Reeder. It’s when Jacob Hummel went in before Speights in the Raiders game.

IMO - after the Bye week a rookie should be ready & have that experience.Mcvay plays & starts his rookies in the preseason.We have seen all the rookies (Ram) stepping up on both sides of the ball.

Almost all don’t understand a simple point.The player isn’t the one who makes the decision of who The Rams have of who they put on the field.

Troy Reeder is a try hard.He give Eddie & as long as he puts The Rams in a position to WIN,what else is there(for that player). ?

Mcvay needs to play call better.Stafford’s throw(INT) is on him. That sack fumble against da Bears was on Mcvay & his play. Calling as examples

He played 22 snaps and really never had to cover anyone.

We are all hoping Speights is better than what we have been running out there.

But long way to go to make any conclusions.

The fact that he finally got some play is what I'm ultimately referring to. Our LBs have been so weak that there is zero reason to not have rotated Speights in for a few snaps. The sad part is the injury to Reeder is what ultimately prompted this to occur sooner. Speights is a rookie so of course he's going to have hiccups but he can be developed. We already know what Reeder and Rozeboom are.
