He is the son of Dave Shula (former Bengals coach)
Thanks for the family tree.

I think the Rams Shula will make a fine head coach.... in spite of the negative Nancy's around here saying "Shula has been exposed" "and is not head coach material." I think he has done great with what he has been given.... But I would like him to stay.

Brian Flores contract is up with Minny. Just saying.

Why would Shula want to live in the background of his dads legacy at Miami.

Seem like Shula is his own man.
I'm sure a raise to the tune of millions of dollars would make him not care. Plus, Don hasn't coached in 30 years. While it is a neat trivia bit its fairly irrelevant to most fans these days I'd think.

Have you read some of the old timer Rams fans around here.... they have photographic memories, which I'm my experience has brought the irrelevant back to life.... kinda cool if you ask me.

Not sure he's the favorite as we've me.tioned in the black Friday thread. It might be another year for him.

Also this thread title needs changing. Its inaccurate and vlick bait.

Flores will be the next Head Coach of the Baltimore Ravens IMHO.

He wants to be a head coach and with the lawsuit pending we don't need the baggage.

I don't think Shula's ready. I'd like to see him get another year with a stud corner added too. But when it comes to McVay coaches hirings always seem likely.

I'll throw a name out there.

Stephen Adegoke

Currently Safeties coach for the Texans, for the last 3 years. Prior to that he was a defensive assistant for DeMeco Ryans in SF.

I would think he is squarely behind Salah at this point. Now, maybe Miami gets nostalgic and hires him, but I would think he has more to prove.

Or the McVay aura gets him a gig with a team hoping that he brings some McVay magic and a few of his offensive assistants with him. Of course that didn't help Raheem to be successful. So that could make teams leery of Shula as well.
