That roster is loaded and will be for some time. We don't have nearly the talent they do. Our running game is shot and our defense doesn't match up. Gonna be a rough few years chasing them.

Huh?

The rams should have beaten them twice this season. The first game was just an undisciplined mess when they should have had them on the back foot and the second game, well, we all know what happened there.

These fucks aren't that far ahead of the nfc west pack.

I've been trying to tell you people all year..........

This 49ers team is really, really , really good.

You've made fun of JG, and even KS. This is a very good QB/HC combo.

And they have rubbed it back into peoples faces all year.

By the way........look for Shanahan to smash the Chefs shit DL just like he smashed the Packers shit DL.

Their offense scores a ton of points and is well crafted and their defense is really good and pretty fucking fast at the LOS.

They are going to beat the Chefs.

For my own selfish reasons I'm OK with that.

I should have an army of supermodels to have sex with, a 32 car garage full of exotics, and an endless amount of cash to spend.

But reality says otherwise.

Reality says the 49ers are the best team in the NFC.

The Packers, Saints, Seahawks and anyone else is NOT the team to go through to get out of the conference right now. It's SF. And it looks to be that way for a few years.

The LOS has to be the priority.

I never said differently. I'm just saying they're not as far ahead as the poster i quoted was saying.

And the lines are definitely the top priority for snead. I liked what mcvay did with the oline at the end of the year but they still couldn't run block for shit. And as the cowboys game showed, if mcvay didn't move Goff around and use misdirection, they couldn't pass protect that well either.

The young guys should be better next season. They're not that far off.

This season was unacceptable to McVay. He will leave no stone unturned in getting back to relevance. No guarantees on immediate success but I feel good about his long term success. It’s 110% all the time for this head coach. Rams fans are blessed.

Essentially Goff is a pocket passer. Which I prefer because of longevity/consistency/system keep and because I feel like he is an excellent passer from the pocket. I don't want the play designs to rely on rollouts and magic fucking pixie dust all the time.'

I also don't want to see him require an elite set of pass catchers at every spot. I think Goff can be excellent with average or above average pass catchers but with a well above average OL. I want my QB to have some time to decide where to throw. I'm OK with a guy who is smart about where to throw the ball and I feel like Goff is that kind of guy.

The DL needs more too of course. But the OL is the top priority and if I was GM i would spend al draft picks and everything else on that.

Because if the OL gets right this team is in the mix for the SB.

Also, I just realized something.

How the fuck does Ryan Tannehill get crushed by the criticism police for throwing less than 200 yards, but Jimmy Garawhatver does EVEN LESS and no one says anything?!

What the hell?!

GO CHIEFS.

John Lynch has hit on pretty much every pick he has made in the later part of the drafts, and not just hit, hit home runs. Not sure why some of ypu are surprised. As the other poster has stated, they were hit with crazy injuries last season. I dont have them beating the Chiefs, but who knows what will happen. I cant allow myself to hate or be mad at another teams success. At the end of the day, its only a game.

Couldn't be further from the truth. Lynch was fortunate that Kittle panned out from his first draft and didn’t get much from 2018 either. He did get some decent picks in 2020 when the Niners drafted 2nd overall. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

I’m calling Bull shit on this one. Rams had the whiners beat in Santa Clara in December. Niners are going to play a first place schedule and have a target on their back. One and done. K.C. will school their weak secondary in the Super Bowl. Chiefs 37 Jimmy G. 4 picks.

Go f*** yourself. Because I dont have a f***ng biased opinion or suck the Rams d*** like a blind homer , that makes me a 49er fan? F*** you. You dont know s*** about me. Im not blinded by being a fan of the opposing team. I didnt speak anything but facts.
No it’s pretty obvious you’re a Niners troll or even worse a bandwagon fan. Go F** The Whiners!

Because the 49ers rushed for 280 yards @10.5 a carry. Jimmy simply didnt have to do anything. Why is this so hard for people to understand? If Gurley ran for 220 and 4 TDs, no one here would bat a freaking eye if Goff threw 8 times.
Jimmy G sucks. Niners trying to hide their highest paid player.

SF's offense is pretty awesome. I've been annoyed of the Jimmy G hype since he got there but he's been what they've needed him to be. I think back to him throwing for 350 and 4 TDs in NO this year, which ended up getting them the #1 seed looking back. Then they have the best TE in football, the best fullback, and then Shanahan drawing up some fantastic schemes/plays. They've had 3 RBs have monster games for them this year.

It's really made me realize how we need to make the run game a priority next season. Goff shouldn't have to throw the ball 630 times. He can be a great QB but he's not Mahomes. Balance is key. Their pass to run ratio went from 568:459 last year to 632:401 this year. SF was at 478:498 this year. Run the ball, control the clock, wear out the defense, limit the turnovers.

I've prepared myself for a SF Super Bowl win. They have a very well-rounded team. I'm hoping Mahomes can carry the Chiefs to victory, but it seems like SF is the better overall team. Here's hoping I'm wrong!

Dont come here trying to be logical or with a non-homer view. You'll get accused of being a 49er fan. Especially if youre a new member. Trust me from the little experience I have.

Will JG be the SB MVP if they win?

Depends if one of the RB's has a day like Mostert did in the conference game. If JG only throws 8 times, I struggle to see how he gets MVP. But stranger things have happened....
