Absurd
Barkley is a tremendous player some years, and other years he's mediocre
He was a complete non factor in the SB win, while the defense dominated KC. In the SB loss, Hurts dominated the game and the refs did their part to help out. Its just pure ignorance to assume the Eagles couldnt have won without him
I'd love to see Love as a Ram, but Barkley is the last guy I'd use as a reference, he's the polar opposite and for years was the example of why you dont draft a RB high
Come on man. Absurd? It's not absurd at all. You might be the only one who thinks the Beagles win the SB without Barkley. Hell. They certainly don't make it past us without him and his 232 yards. And 97 yards (the most by any Beagles player) in a SB when the Chefs were keying on taking him away isn't exactly a non-factor. KC's defense actually played fairly well. Their offense sucked ass.

Barkley is 1 guy
They don’t win without Jalen Carter or many other players.
Key contributor? Hell yeah. But do they win without him?
Well, if Philly held KC to 20 points in the SB 2 years prior, they win that game too
And Barkley did shit in the SB win
Team game, they won because of the sum of their parts

You keep FIXATING on the one Super Bowl game itself and not the ENTIRE season as the determining factor. You don't even know how wrong you are , everyone on here can see that.

Do you remember, Marshall Faulk in our Super Bowl win against Tennessee had 10 carries for 17 yards? Also had very low yardage the week before against Tampa Bay. Guess he wasnt an important piece in Rams winning Super Bowl, LOL

Nice straw man!
Cant have a conversation without resorting to this bullshit.
I’ve stated time and time again that he was an important factor but not the sole factor.
No single player is EVER the SOLE reason
If you can’t comprehend that, there is no help for you

I think you guys are comparing apples against oranges.

If the Eagles don't have 1 of the following 2 players, they don't win:

Barkley

or

Carter

It's a team game but those 2 players put the Eagles over the top of the Rams.

They were that critical in that game.

Okay straw man. Said originally he was the MAIN reason for the Eagles transforning from 2023 quick exits to 2024 Super Bowl Champs. And that's exactly true. I know you want your "devalued running back" theory to work but it's not true in every single case.

Nobody's talking about the Eagles beating the Rams in a game. The question was who is most responsible for the Eagles going from 2023 first round exits to 2024 Super Bowl champions. That 2024 season includes the course of the ENTIRE season, not just the Ram game(s) and not just the Super Bowl.

Well, for arguments sake, the Chiefs decided to go all out to stop Barkley, which opened up the Eagles passing game. So he did impact the SB.

Some people don't grasp the finer points and causation of Football. Just a stat sheet. Football is the MAIN Sport in which stats often lie.

And NEVER said he was the "sole factor," said he was "directly responsible." Go have a look.

Yup, its a team game. KC had no answers for Hurts last time, and no answers for him again. The difference was Philly D dominating them, holding them to 6 points thru 3.75 quarters
