Doesn't explain him running stride for stride and pulling away from Julio, Ezekiel, and Sherman in the simulcam.
Depends on how much you trust someone who has already admitted that they edited the video. Not that I really think there's a conspiracy or anything, but when you're 3/10 of a second down the track before the stop watch moves, then either your name is Barry Allen or something went wrong with the stop watch.

On the other hand, the video shows the clock the network displayed on TV. I don't know how closely that's linked to the official timer, but I'm assuming the times ended the same. That wouldn't be possible without something weird going on.

I wanted a Player the Hags took, and it's NOT the one your thinking of!! I wanted the Rams to take RB Rashaad Penny, I thought he would be a great change-of-pace Back / relief man for Gurley!! Now we must DESTROY HIM!!(y):mrburnsevil:

I like the RB the Rams took, Kelly, straight up better than Penny.

I will trust the Rams FO that Franklin-Myers was a good pick. However I would have used R4.135 for a DL like Hurst, McIntosh or Settle and picked F-A in the 6th.

Hard to say. I was rooting for the Rams to select Ogbonnia Okoronkwo with every pick they had up until they finally selected him in the 5th round.:D

But, I'll go with DB Siran Neal or DT Tim Settle.

For the first time in a long time, I'm happy with the Rams Draft as a whole - I'm still not 100% on the Brian Allen pick, there were C's on the board that I had ranked much higher than him.

The only player I would have liked to have picked up is a 'Work in Progress' type of guy with IMO huge upside and that's Tulane's Ade Aruna

I love our draft and other than maybe Settle instead of the NT we got, I’m fully on board.

Also, seems everyone’s on break.

Over a full day and the only posts were in this thread.

Hope everyone rests up for what’s gonna be an amazing season.

I keep going back to the what if questions.

What if the Rams traded Tavon Austin to the Cowboys to trade up from the 3rd round 87th pick which was the Rams original pick, move up 6 spots to get the Cowboys 81st pick, and select OT Orlando Brown. I just get the feeling that he is going to have a much better career than Joe Noteboom when all is said and done. I hope I am wrong though now that Noteboom is a Ram.

The other one for me is trading up from 4th round 135 to 4th round 129. For a 6th rd draft pick, I think we could have switched places with the Jaguars and selected Josh Sweat at 129, and the Jaguars still would have gotten their selection of Will Richardson OT, at 135. Between 130 and the end of the 4th round, no OT were selected. I’m taking Josh Sweat DE over John Franklin-Meyers DE, everyday and twice on Sunday.

IMO I think this would have cost us the equivalent of 2 6th picks. The 6th we received for Tavon Austin just being a straight swap for the Cowboys 81st pick, and an actual 6th round pick to move up to the Jaguars 129th pick from our 135th pick.

A draft of:

Rd. Name. Pick #. Pos

3. Orlando Brown. 81. OT
4. Brian Allen. 111. C
4. Josh Sweat. 129. DE
5. Micah Kiser. 147. ILB
5. Obo Okoronkwo. 160. Edge
6. John Kelley. 176. RB
6. Jamil Demby. 192. OT/G

I really feel this could have been done with the draft picks we had available, and IMO I would have taken the chance with these players. But, luckily for the Rams, I am a wannabe draftnik and there are better (much) people getting paid to build the Rams with a vision for the future, and in the end this front office and coaching staff has done great things for the team and the city of LA so far. Just glad we got our team back in LA and the excitement surrounding the team now.

Shaquem Griffin to start at linebacker for Seahawks

Shaquem Griffin's inspiring path to the NFL is receiving a new, unexpected wrinkle this week.

In his first regular-season game, Griffin will be starting at linebacker.

In speaking to reporters Wednesday, coach Pete Carroll made the announcement that usual starter K.J. Wright (knee) will miss Seattle's Week 1 contest against the Denver Broncos. That leaves Griffin to step into Wright's place in the starting lineup, a change Carroll confirmed.

Griffin was a standout defender at UCF as part of a Knights team that finished undefeated in 2017. Notable for his success achieved despite having only one hand, Griffin has served as an inspiration for countless people nationwide, with a highwater moment arriving when the Seahawksdrafted him with the 141st pick in the 2018 draft.

Griffin's twin brother, defensive back Shaquill Griffin, is also a member of the Seahawks. Both will start for Seattle on Sunday in Denver.
