I don’t see the Rams keeping four Tight Ends.
I thought about that. If that's the case...it's possible Hopkins may be on the hotseat. It's show and prove time for him right now.

I think I would go 1 less ILB and keep another OL
Could be... I do think for the first time in some years we have a pretty large group of talented ILBs... sure only one of them was drafted... but it's a talented group and we've had success with guys who weren't drafted high. We had the #1 defense in the NFL with Micah Kiser, Kenny Young and Troy Reeder being our ILBs. I'd argue that out of the new guys... Kelechi, square, and Smenda all have upsides beyond that group.

And between the roster and the practice squad.. we should keep those guys and develop them. Ernest Jones is our guy but if he goes down, are we going with Rozenboom with the Dot and our primary ILB?? Square and Smenda Jr. have been leaders of some pretty decent defenses in college and we need to develop those guys... it's a need for us. Also I think people are overestimating how much we're going to use only 1 ILB and have an extra safety in the box... we have young inexperienced safeties now too and it's not clear at all who that extra safety would be.

We need ILBs on the Roster and the practice squad
