Perhaps he can and perhaps he does, all I've said is he couldn't do shit last year when given a chance and that was on a pretty good offense that had a couple RB ahead of him doing well. Hell he was inactive the last 5 games and had 2 games over 4 ypc one was a 1 carry 12 yard performance.
What chance was this? Ekeler got all the carries and the scraps were shared by the backups. He had no place on that team. Chargers are a mess and I'm not concerned about their personnel choices. What does trouble me with Sony is why the Dolphins gave up on him so quickly, he should have been a good fit there and couldnt make the final 53.

Twelve games minimal carries and he was shit. People worry about Akers numbers last year behind a good line but don't worry about Michel behind a better line? He wasn't good when he got carries and wasn't good enough to get. That's all I've said.

We'll see what he does here

IMO, Michel could carve out a Malcolm Brown role like last year, but I believe if a RB is released the Rams like they will claim him and release Michel. I know they do trust Michel in pass protection, but Williams thrives in that too, so Michel will have to show something to stick.

That's easy. He's slow as fuck.

The phins want speed.

Nobody "did shit" for the Chargers other than Ekeler, that's a strange argument.
Alas, he's there for his pass blocking and as long as Kyren can stay healthy, he's a hell of a pass blocker and Michel faces a significantly bigger hill to climb.
Im interested to see what happens with Evans, his future can go in a variety of directions. Could stash him on PS if he doesnt impress during TC but also could be the #2 RB day 1 of regular season

Well again ideally Michel gets pushed out by the kids. But it sure is nice to see the Rams getting out in front of this RB room by ensuring the vet option is there to back things up if needed.

This is exactly what they should have done in some previous seasons where they stood pat instead and ended up needing to add a depth piece who can be counted on. Guys like Brown and Henderson were fucking mirages on the depth chart, the moment the team was in a position where they were relying on them they'd not be available.

Going this route is much better. Still can end up being burnt at RB, as the position is tough to rely on across the league not just with us. And Sony doesn't look like he's got all that much gas left in the tank. But all I've been asking for is a little more quality in that room so that we're not defining insanity every fucking season.

Yeah sure - Malcom Brown & Thomas Brown once back together helped Cam Akers get back on track. The guy was also a URfAR who The Rams developed & helped on special teams.
Sony is another type of RB who was actually a High Draft pick by NE that helped beat The Rams in the Superbowl. Then actually helped The Rams get to the Superbowl.

We can talk about Henderson or Hopkins, but both players made HUGE against Cinncy in which if either faulted The Rams loss.IMO Hopkins gets cut & the is a chance the Ben Sko gets CUT!! His saving Grace will be special teams. His WR skills aren’t all that great & coming off an injury will not help him now That The Rams signed 2 veteran WR’s.
—Evans might be a practice squad guy if Sony is in Top Form!! —will see,but I appreciate what Ram players have done, but also try to keep it real.

Tutu of all Rams scored The last rush TD for 11 yards against the Hags.Rams (Raheem) almost beat them.Earnest Brown recovered a fumble which for some reason was called a forward pass.
Malcom Brown was the last Rams RB to score a TD.The Rams actually had a chance to win the game. There was a hold that opened up a 50 plus yard TD.Malcom though against Staley’s defense walked into the Endzone from 21yards up the middle.

I don’t see the Rams keeping four Tight Ends.

Demarcus Robinson returns punts. Kyren Williams returns kicks.
Robinson can return punts, but he has only done it 3 times in college at Florida and a total of 5 times in the pros both for negative yardage.

I believe AJax is the Rams RT of the future. We will Draft or Tradd for our LT by next year.
Doesn't hurt to have depth there or options if Ajax plays great at LT. That takes LT off the board, thus not having to force a 1st or 2nd rd pick there next yr.

True. Well... if my list is one player short... my hope was that Xavier Smith would shine in preseason and get the return job. After we signed Robinson and Johnson I had less hope Xavier would make the team
