You're wrong. So so wrong. It is illegal to use any technology, period. So you can't have a spotter in the bleachers or scoreboard that conveys the sign (pitch) to the batter no matter the method of signaling used. You can't have any electronic devices to convey info to the batter.....like an ear piece etc. What is legal is for the runner on second base to signal (without electronics or other technology) the batter as to what pitch to expect and possibly where. That is why the battery will frequently (for the Cardinals) change the signs with a runner on second base. There is more than one set of signs for backup since both teams have video replay in their clubhouse that batters can watch during a game and thus determine signs used. Thats why the runner at second base can necessitate a new temporary set of signs.
Back in high school, the last time I pitched, my catcher had a sign for me if he suspected sign stealing. The next pitch would be earhole bound...:mrburnsevil:

hey @Boston Ram ..we have to maybe catch a Rams game this year...how far away is Providence for you...45 minutes for me

Or a hockey game either in Boston or the PBruins season just around the corner. Might do a suite for 5 games in Providence

I live in Lexington just outside Boston. Providence is about an hour, 93 to 95 into RI. And yes we should! There about 5 of us here in New England, we should get the whole crew.

That was in play as well! So was a hard pickoff throw that inadvertently hit the runner in the middle of the back! :yess:

Thats old school baby! What I can't stand is watching a batter crowd the plate. These days too many pitchers are scared to claim the inside of the plate.

I get it, your a typical fan. You will defend your team at all cost. Its no different than what a Patriot fan does. There is nothing wrong with it. My only issue was your attack on Boston. Perhaps you are jealous. Boston has won like 10 Championships in the last 14 year and lost in 3 or 4 finals. Thing is you are ticked at the city. We fans have not done anything, we dont play the games we just root for the teams....just like you. Boston fans are guilty of enjoying an unprecedented period of success. I agree the Patriot SBs are tainted but Im not a Patriot fan, so I get their side too. You insist in looking through your lens and refuse to acknowledge your own teams mis steps. Patriot fans are just like you. They defend, say its not a big deal, they were railroaded, etc, just like you have done in this thread.

My only point is dont rip my city. Fans are fans and will protect their team, just like you protect yours.

Im not going back and forth any more, its just a conversation that will go in circles. The title of this post is the only reason I even responded in the first place. I hope you would consider changing the title of this thread...thats all.
BS. I won't defend my team at any cost. I will be accurate when addressing cheating. Perhaps you have a point about not ripping the city per se. I suppose not everyone there is a Masshole. I'll see if I can change the title.

Don't see where I can change the title but if a mod can then I suggest "More Cheating BS".

I'm old and I went to school.;)

That's the way I was raised and taught to play. I had a reputation for hitting batters starting when I was about 9 in Little League. In fact, I hit my own mom with a pitch in a stupid Moms vs the boys they had. Honestly, it wasn't intentional. I threw a curve that just spun and didn't break at all. My mom never believed me and made sure everybody knew it!:redcard:
