While true (everyone has injuries this time of year), the scary thing is now that the Saints are a lock (for the 1 or 2) Payton can rest those guys these last two weeks, and this offense will once again be right as rain for when the playoffs come to the Superdome.

I get the confidence, as any Saints fan should be. But the offensive output against Carolina and Dallas, and even the Buccaneers would be a cause for concern.

As far as we go, we also need to get our offense goin again obviously. The last thing I’m worried about are the Saints right now.

But the point you are missing is that the Saints are in a funk, but winning (except vs the Cowboys) with a less than healthy squad, and when healthy you know what you are getting. They are finding a way to win when they aren’t playing their best ball, and dealing with injuries.

If anything, people should be concerned about the Saints defense. They are now the 7th best scoring defense, and they have been dominant on the road.

I’m not missing a point my man. All teams get in funks; some just never get out. And you should know this as well as all of us fans, what you did previously has no bearing on what you will do in the games to follow.

Sure it has no bearing on what is to come, but for the last few months I have lurked, and read people here saying “just wait til we get Talib back.” They aren’t saying that because when he gets back he will fill out the team picture, no it’s because he improves the Rams chances of winning, and moves them further from being stuck in a funk.

The Saints are in a funk right now, but getting Terron Armstead and Ted Ginn should return them to the team they were before we got stuck in this lurch.

The post season is going to be wild if both teams come in health.

Panthers sitting Cam for the rest of the season. Looks like we are fighting for the 2 seed.

I think we (Saints) will be watching Teddy Bridgewater that final week. I think we will rest Drew and the starters to give them an extra week of rest.

Not if homefield throughout is on the line.

But who knows? Rams tried rest last year - didn’t go well for us.
