GAME DAY MNF: Ravens at Bucs / Chargers at Cardinals

Sorry completely disagree. They were down 41-18 with around 4 minutes left in the game. They had the smallest of chances of coming back. I get they got it down to 10, but they had to score an very improbable 2 times. They were at like their 38 yard line with zero timeouts with less than a minute when Godwin got hurt and would have had to recover a 2nd onside kick to remotely have a chance. This is a regular season game where the Bucs were getting spanked. Not a playoff game or the Superbowl. Now because of his dumb ass decision, Bowles gets to take his team into a showdown vs the Falcons minus his 2 best weapons for the lead in their division. Plain stupid. His ego got the best of him and will most likely cost the Bucs their season. Your consensus is all kind of wrong, but mostly cuz I say so

If all nfl coaches felt this way there would be no miracle comebacks at all in nfl history.

When a player gets hurt at the end of a meaningless game (especially one where the chances are super slim), then yes that coach is a dumb ass, McVay included. Are you really trying to help your argument by thinking McVay isn't infallible and asking me that as if that will stop me because he's our coach? That shit is laughable at best. All coaches are humans and every human is fully capable of being a dumb ass. Difference here is Bowles was given a clue that shit could go sideways when Evans came out gimpy. He tried, because of his pride and ego, to win a game where the chances were miniscule in terms it pulling off. Now the Bucs are in a way worse position than just losing a game. If you haven't noticed by now, you aren't going to magically convince me to come to your side of thinking just like I'm not going to get you in my side of thinking.
