Game Day Thread

The GDT is a live thread tradition here at ROD.

While we all get fired up watching the game, please remember our core principles; we always show respect for our team and each other.

Despite the emotional highs and lows watching a game, we will moderate this thread with that in mind, however please refrain from name calling. This applies to players, the Rams organization, and each other.

This is the core rule of the GDT. Moderators are tasked to issue thread bans, at a minimum, to maintain this standard.

This is our team. Win or lose. Good days and bad. We are here for FUN, not to be dragged down.

A more loosely moderated atmosphere can be found in the chat room.

Go Rams!

Why? Fifth seed is a must for us. This would put SEA or SF as the sixth seed, and could mean a home game for the NFL championship game.
I dont know if McVay sees it that way
Who wins 2 team tie breaker Rams vs 49ers/Seattle (assuming 1 loses next week)
I think the Rams win tie break vs Seattle, lose to the 49ers

Whoever wins the game with SF/Seattle is the number one seed. The loser drops to 6th. If Seattle loses we're tied and we have the tiebreaker. If SF loses we have the better record. Thats provided we win the next two. We definitely have something to play for. 6th seed goes to Philly or Chicago. Get the 5th and a better chance at a home game if we go to the NFCCG.

A part of me is confident our boys will get it done, either convincingly or by a one score margin because that's just how we roll. Another part of me feels like we have a good chance of losing this game given how this entire weekend of football has shaped up - we received ZERO help.

We will see how well they bounce back from a disappointing finish last game. If they come out with fire in their eyes and dominate then we know they are focused on the task at hand. If its a struggle and we barely win then I have concern. A loss and there is much more concern.

Bad thing here is the Falcons seem to be playing for more than the Rams tonight. Also if we don't have Dotson or Jackson I am worried how the protections are gonna look.
