Yeah you’re right. It’s all Stafford‘s fault he should be cut right now.
No, stop with the straw man argument. What I did say is this is why McVay went and got "his Aaron Rodgers"

He and Stafford need to step up and give us a chance. I sure as hell hope that they do.

And also, interestingly, they inquired about trading for the actual Aaron Rodgers during this time also.

Looking more and more like I should take that nap I had put off since we played this evening. This game won’t be competitive.

Will they give Terrell Burgess snaps in the slot tonight? I'd really like to see him play.
And Brycen Hopkins... they don't have anyone else to play TE either. What a mess lol. I am interested to see both of them play actual football finally. I would think both would see heavy use considering our predicament.

Damn, this is almost like a preseason game for us... get to check out all of those mysterious depth players no one ever sees play but you hope is some kind of surprise super star but just ends up getting cut the next week. It would be funny if I didn't want to cry.

Cmon man - you're better than that

It really annoys me that people go to the other extreme to try to win an argument

My wife does that all the time - don't be like my wife

Just trying to illustrate absurdity by being absurd. But you are right. I should not have done that. I apologize to all.

It could be worse. The Lions were already shitty and had to basically start their practice squad team yesterday due to injuries and COVID. At least we still have Kupp, Stafford, OBJ, Whit, Donald, Von, etc. *knocks on wood*

Nothing like looking forward to a big game for 7 days and get a gut punch in the last 24 hours. 50/50 is now 20/80 IMO. Dammit

Man, haven’t caught a break since we went “all in”
I must say I am not that thrilled with where they are right now. I wanted them to build this more organically, via the draft and a key FA here or there.

Seems like this year they really cut corners and tried to expedite everything. While I appreciate the effort, it seems to me they will pay a hefty price down the road for their impatience. It's like McVay abandoning the run game in a big game for hopes of a quick strike, only to have it backfire and his game plan falls apart.

This looks like a mismash of star players and late round picks that offer more flash than substance... including the coaching staff.... and not sure it all fits together much anymore.

I have zero expectations for the rest of the yr. I don't recall feeling this way about a Rams team, that was solidly in playoff position at this point in the season, in my life

Well, I do recall, as 13 yr old kid, having no expectations in 79' when they went into Dallas in the WC game. So who knows, but right now this looks like a flawed and beat up team that will be one and done... If they make the playoffs.

I want to see us compete, this will be an interesting game to assess our ability to creatively adjust and react to adversity.
For me the biggest disappointment is not having DD or RR in the secondary to really assess. Now we have to endure either players that
have underperformed or not even earned time on the field in our secondary. Higz is a huge factor and similar to that of the secondary with unproven/underperforming replacements. I am a little less concerned about the O.L
Lets hope players step up and we adjust the gameplan to address the recent shortcomings. I still feel like it could be a great game, hope it is

Hey Rod Family! Anyone else going to the game tonight?

I'm here at the Yardhouse now, right next to the stadium. Got 4 tickets to tonight's game.

Please. Please, Please kick the shit out of the Cardinals tonight. Tons of Red Bird fans here tonight. I may send a Pic or two here during the game.

Let's Go Rams!
