I'm just downing my 5th playe of crow and it has NEVER tasted better

What a gutsy performance by this whole fucking team
You & me both...

Did not have a good feel about this...even put a few $$ on the Cards in an attempt to mush the Cards and salvage what I thought would be a tough night.

Luckily a few props got some money back.

The Rams were outgained.. and Cardinals won time of possession.

The key stat... and it's the most important stat in football.. other than final score..
Turnovers.
Cards 2
Rams 0.

I just can't say it enough.

Has Stafford won a huge game now ???
Best game this yr, even counting the Bucs game. Played within himself, didn't try to do too much. Smart, efficient, and took shots when it made sense.

And Michel was huge, his patience in the hole got him yards Henderson never would get.

This is what the offense needs to look like.

Also shows how huge a loss Akers was. This run game can keep defenses honest and not put too much on Stafford's shoulder's.

I picked the Rams to lose both games and they’ve won handily… I gotta keep doing it as much as I hate it…

Smart play by OBJ. Ran out of bounds backwards to keep the clock going.
Is that what happened? Seriously? If you go out backwards the clock doesn't stop? I didn't know that...cool!

Specials teams coach has no business in this league anymore. Game on the line against a division rival, on the road and you put everyone who has no business trying to recover an onside kick on the line. Idiot.
^^ This... like come on man put in the 4 string TE instead of a LB!

I didn't either.

That is high football IQ.

Some have it, some don't.

After DJ I had my doubts about OBJ.

Not any more.

OBJ sure has some good hands.
No doubt. Elite hands. There is just zero doubt when that ball hits his meathooks.

Why do we have a linebacker and a safety right in the middle of the hands team?
This. Middle should have been hands types. Putting a meatball in there right in front of the kicker makes it easy on the kicker. Forcing him to reach a meatball at the edge of the field is the way to go and have hands types mixed in with them.

I went on a Card's forum and talk about some funny shit. Blaming the refs for the loss and Kyler "having an off night". LMAO

I don't follow them but I've watched them enough to know that if you take away his two short reads, and contain him he will force the ball. Both of his INTs were forced passes. It wasn't an off night for Kyler, his deep balls are inconsistent, and the more he's frustrated the more he forces the ball. HELLO Cardinal Fans.....That's the book on Kyler. It's how you beat him.

Many couldn't believe how a big dude like Gaines could run with Kyler. I guess they don't know he did the same with Lawrence. He did the same at UW so it didn't surprise me. He's made SJD, and Robinson expendable this off-season.

When Morris plays his DB's tight they deliver. When he backs off the opposition marches down the field. He still doesn't get it. Morris did as much as anyone to keep the Cards in the game. Both he and DeCamillis need to go next year.

What this game showed is exactly what I've been preaching all season. This team is deeper than almost everyone thinks. They simply have to be played to their strengths. There is only one irreplaceable player and that's Donald. Miller is making his presence felt in that he can do more than simply rush the passer.

It's clear that Jones is going to be their starting MIKE going forward. What he lacks in athleticism he makes up for with instincts.

It's also clear that Hopkins won't make this team next year and they could potentially move Harris back to TE or draft one. Personally, I'd rather leave Harris at WR and make them 5 deep at the position. It's also clear that Mundt won't make the team next year either if Blanton gets more consistent with his hands.

I think they have their returner in Powell.

Other than injuries or Covid, there is no reason to think the Rams can't run the table. Remember the Cards still play Dallas and Indy, either of which could beat the Cards. It's not beyond reason to think the Cards won't end up 12-5. So the Ram's can't let down and still have a decent shot at the division.

Next week we all need to root for Goff to put a dagger in the bird's heart. If Kliff keeps managing the game like he did tonight, they could lose 3 of their last 4. The idiot didn't take the 3 earlier in the game and again with over a minute remaining. Seeing as how they recovered the onside kick that would have given them a short field and over a minute on the clock. It could have changed the whole outcome and that isn't lost on the Card faithful. He's already being roasted in AZ.
