I wonder on the running game, how much losing Akers hurt. When we had Gurley, McVay ran the ball a lot more. That was partially because pre-injury Gurley was a beast so why not run more, but maybe he just doesn't have that same patience with our current crop of RBs.

I do wonder if we would be better sometimes with a few less big names and a few really physical guys in the middle.

The other weird thing, why all the penalties last few weeks?

This D could use more 3 and outs but right now just hold for no points and add at least a FG. We are better than they are Period
 
The D at least seems to have picked up some.
 
And how was that not off setting when whit got flagged as 3 niners threw hendo down after 3 whistles
 
One receiver you have to cover and they can’t do it
 
Will Jimmy GQ throw a pass longer than ten yards tonight? If not, why can't we defend that?
 
They're just eating up the clock with first down after first down. Our 3rd down defense really sucks.
