Stop being a sourpuss. No one said Goff throws a consistent Deep ball or doesn't make stupid mistakes under pressure.

If you can't recognize Goff's strengths which is his top notch accuracy in the short to medium game your being unrealistic and Biased.

Or just watch the actual game.

What you said can apply to every QB. I would expect him to make short and medium passes lol.

And nah. It's gonna take a long time to get off my bitterness from how last season ended. What could've been. I ain't hiding it.

Love McVay...

Love Stafford...

But Cousins and Goff have shown their success wasn't attributed to Sean McVay alone. Stafford is the better QB right now. But giving up those 2 first and 3rd and Goff is looking like a good deal for the Lions as well.

Trade might have two winners. We'll see....
It will depend on if he progresses. Maybe like in life, getting out from under a "mentor" like McVay, will allow him to mature a little more and make him a better player. Like removing a crutch.

So if Goff has a good next 8-10 yrs in Detroit, make playoff runs here and there, then its a great deal for them.

If Stafford has 3 great yrs in LA and a couple solid one's in his later 30's, then maybe it is a win win, but I think that is only the case if we win a SB.

I know gleen doesn't have much talent but he's way over his head. His system is trash.

Not true at all. Watch Staffords passes yesterday over 10 short to medium passes off target. They are just different QB's. The swing pass to Hendo in the ground. The low one to Jefferson to kill a drive, the one to the left of Woods to kill a drive. Another low one to Woods to kill a drive. Watch carefully and you will see the lack of precision. But he didn't fumble when sacked and his deep balls have been lights out. QB's have strengths and weaknesses. You can call Stafford better and make a good argument. Goff also lacks mobility that Stafford has.

We're rolling. Go for it. Tough break. Did he really have his checkdown open?

I'm enjoying the heck out of Goff playing well here. I was one who was disappointed in the trade and am happy to see him do well.
That said, I'm over the moon with Stafford, and the offense is just on another level with him at QB

Look, I'm not gonna get into some long winded QB minutia debate with you. Again you're describing things that happens to every QB while trying to prop up JG.

All I know is that Jared is a limited QB that has serious ball security issues. To his credit he's been playing well-ish tonight.

Long story short I had much more confidence in MS getting the go ahead scores in the 4th than I would've with JG. At least the 2019 and especially 2020 versions.
