Wades approach usuallynhas been to play pretty straight ahead, be disciplined and beat teams with talent.
The Rams are not more talented on D that the Chiefs O, on the whole.
The biggest concern to me is Peters.
He has been injured, don't know if he is 100% but he has been bad. He has a golden opportunity to get suckered over and over vs the Chiefs. His ego and risk taking could be a night mare vs Hill. If the Rams play Hill with man that is. I would attack Peters with double moves all day.
One thing the Chiefs do is move Hill out of the back field or in motion until he is matched up with a LB. The Rams should designate a DB to cover him if he comes out of the backfield or in motion. He shadows him and don't all the LB mismatch. All of that just might lead to Kelce getting the mismatches and getting more passes based on pre snap reads.
Which teams tackles better.....something both struggle with....could well win based just on that.
Rams need some sustained drives for TDs tonight as well.

Fantasy Football nightmare for me tonight, I need 24 points from Mahomes for the win. If I lose I’ll still be tied for the division lead at 8-3 so losing won’t sting that much If the RAMS can shut him down. I just hope AD, Suh, and Brockers don’t rough him up that much. I hate fantasy football because of situations like this.

GO RAMS!

I don't see the Rams keeping up. Both teams have comparable offenses with the Chiefs maybe being slightly better.

On defense the Chiefs give up more yards per game than the Rams do, but when it comes to points per game, they're very close with the Rams giving up 23.1 and the Chiefs giving up 24. The Chiefs also have more sacks than the Rams on the year and the Chiefs defense is playing better each week, while the Rams defense is getting worse as the season goes on. Neither team can stop the run, with both having let up 1200+ rush yards so far.

So what this game comes down to is which team can stop the other enough times. With the Rams down a key piece on on offense (Cooper Kupp) and the Chiefs D trending up while the Rams D trends down, I see a win for the Chiefs.

As we complete Week Eleven tonight, both the Horns and the Chiefs have played 10 straight regular season games without a break---roughly the equivalent of a collegiate season. They will both finally catch a break next week on the 2018 season's final bye week. Ideally, the idea is to go into your bye week strong with a win, then come roaring out of the break all healthy & rested. We still need to keep pace with the surging 'Aints; so we have plenty of motivation to bring all the fire & brimstone tonight. Hopefully, Aqib will be ready to roll in Week Thirteen against the Lions.

Getting the lead will be crucial I think. I would take the ball if we won the toss, and then run it down their throat. Get ahead, stay ahead. Wear them out on defense.

Cooper to be activated and return kicks
I don't like this. He had a 1 game lay off last year and fumbled the ball twice. They need to ease him back in. This is not the time to put him in, in place of Jo Jo. Use him as a receiver but not a returner.

I was thinking the same thing. Seeing as it is unlikely that we keep the chiefs from scoring on the first drive, we can start with the ball, get the lead and keep the pressure on.

I think Jo Jo remains as punt returner, and Cooper replaces Countess on KickOff Returns.

That would be in place of Countess

You could be right, but the Chiefs have had Andy Dalton and the Paper Tigers, two rookie quarterbacks and an the pedestrian Case Keenum to feast on the past 4 weeks, while the Rams have faced Hall of Famers Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees and The #1 rushing offense in the league- Seattle.

I respect the Chiefs and what they’ve done this year, but let’s not go myopic, my man.

I read that they won't use him on punt returns but will on kick offs...

Yes and McVay said as much in his press conference which was a relief to hear.

Special Teams
The Rams feature a four-time All-Pro punter in Johnny Hekker and their kicker’s nickname is Legatron. Yet the Chiefs get the ever-so-slight nod in this category. Special teams coach Dave Taub’s crew is ranked first in Football Outsiders’ special teams DVOA for a reason:

With Dustin Colquitt’s precision punts combined with the team’s steely downfield coverage, Kansas City has given up a league-low 32 yards on punt returns this year, an average of just 2.7 yards per kick (also first), and ranks fifth in net punt yardage (44.2); kicker Harrison Butker has connected on 16 of 17 kicks this year (94 percent), and hit all but two of his 43 extra-point attempts; and Hill, who ranks tied for fourth in the league with a 12.5-yard punt return average, is a threat to return one to the house every time he fields it.

Greg Zuerlein is healthy now after sitting out five games with a groin injury, so that gives L.A. an edge on long-yardage field goal attempts, but Kansas City’s excellence in the field-position game this year puts it over the top.

1. We're undefeated in our Color Rush uniforms 2. We're undefeated at home this year

So basically we can't lose tonight! ;)

Any news on Obo that I've missed?

OboItaliancollage.jpg

They are featuring the Veal Parmigiana tonight, and have a great wine list....oh you mean the Ram? Well, he still remains a rumor, a myth, in the same way as Bigfoot, and ol' Nessie, of Loch Ness fame. :)

Right! Surprised the Chiefs are going all white. You'd think with Mahomes Ketchup obsession, they'd opt for Ketchup/ Mustard Bowl II.
