I thought about that a few days ago. Tell all the coaches that can move on so he wouldn't have to fire them.I personally think what McVay was contemplating was how to fire a few of his coaches that he views as friends, something that he really hasn’t had to do before until now. But now he knows he has to make some drastic life changing decisions for others, and he wanted to make sure he’s making the right decisions.
McVay doesn’t need a friend. He needs an experienced creative OC that can reinstitute a formidable Rams offense. Also someone that can effectively adjust the offensive scheme in real time to cover game weaknesses and take advantage of game strengths.Kliff and Sean are close friends. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Kliff aboard in some capacity

Can't forget this bozo.
"I've been saying since September this will be McVay's last year with the Rams".
So how does it feel to be wrong for five months.
He was the one who reported it & made it BIG NEWS!!!I don't know man. The National Sports Media is not too keen on acknowledging when it's wrong.
Quick example. Thirty Minutes ago I turned-on NFL Total Access on the NFL Network; and MJ Acosta Ruiz was discussing the McVay news with Ian Rapoport. They both commented that this was no surprise, and McVay was expected to return. No mention of the many sources that reported the strong possibility and/or likelihood of McVay leaving.

I don’t know if that is where he would dump from to start delegating.
I’m not sure I ever bought in to the whole burn out theme with him or the fantasy that he was considering leaving. He should - that's a big chunk on his plate. He should just manage the game at a high level.

The worst part about Foolio is if (when?) the Rams win 11 or 12 games next year, compete for the division and conference he will never acknowledge him pushing the idea of a multiyear rebuild.HELL YEAH!!
Sounds like every talking head out there. None of them care about truth and no one checks them for accuracy. The worst part about Foolio is if (when?) the Rams win 11 or 12 games next year, compete for the division and conference he will never acknowledge him pushing the idea of a multiyear rebuild.
He is terrible
He is usually wrong
He is agenda driven
He is the one of the few guys who makes Chris Sims likable by comparison.
