I started hating the 9ers at the same time! Merton Hanks and his long A$$ neck….psshhhh
Full blown hate after 89' with the way those two losses went.

And really began a few yrs earlier when I think about it. Was it 84' or 85' when we got spanked at the Big A, highlighted by Roger Craig's great run that you still see from time to time?

What if McVay left the Rams for a broadcasting job, and then came out of retirement and saved our asses again? I would hate to see him go, but wouldn't that be awesome? I do not know why I think this, but to think that McVay would be older than 40 and coaching the Rams is a pipe dream. I hope I am wrong.

On what planet would that be awesome? Extend him. Extend him again. Extend him again. Whatever he wants, Stan, give it to him. He's 36? If you play your cards right, you can have him another 9 or 10 years (4 or 5 titles).

lol- your right. He will be 40 soon enough. The hope is Mcvay’s coaching tree slow’s down. Before you know it The NFL will have all 32 with his prodigious.

If your a NINERS FAN!! Last season showed how infested that changing of the guard still is there no matter how good The Rams are(play).
To see SOFI so DEEP in RED & LOUD
just let’s you know This RIVARLY is REAL.

I CALL OUT all those Seahag backers who said SEATTLE was The Rams number 1 Rival.

What a JOKE. I feel like I’m a rookie in here with some of the long time Ram Fans.I’m 40 plus years into or 50?

The Hags & Raiders were rivals.Boo Jackson on Monday Night running over The BOZ is still a NFL classic.
There still an AFC team the way I see it.
Russell Wilson going to DENVER is what the HAGS were all about. The Raiders,KC,Denver & Chargers are all still there ever since Al Davies brought them into The AFC West in the 60’s. Where were The Hags. Who was there first HC ?

Just saying this Mcvay & Shanahan thing is real.Losing how many straight NFC league game streak is still on. For those like Oldbutnotdead say The Rams broke that pattern are wrong..
The last Rams Home playoff game at SOFI Stadium was Dominated by Niner Fans.It was like The 80’s & The changing of the Guard.

—Winning The SuperBowl & beating The Niners was HUGE. If that DB catches that Stafford Duck where would The Rams be? That is a question that is a easy one to forget about. Still say Duck the 8ers!

Could someone give this info to Chris Collinsworth?

Well I liked what Chris was saying about Joe Noteboom. There was no time I wanted him to shut up more about how good he was playing.Of course Noteboom might have got hurt & then Whitworth was back at LT.

Just glad Noteboom got signed for 3 more seasons with Brian Allen. To think both players were starters in 2019 with no NFL experience?

Just as long as David Edwards between them I think they will be alright. Then again do we fear for Edwards health ?

Man after years of crying over losses to the vikings and cowgirls (the 70's) then seeing the whiners kick our rears for 17 straight games, I'm hoping we're going to win 7 super bowls under McVay. McVay is young and Kroenke has deep pockets. I hope that we become the next dynasty.

Well actually The Rams have been called The New Americas team

I admire McVay as much as the rest of you on this board, but let's not forget the man who hired this young, inexperienced, head coach and that's Les Snead. And I would bet that Snead will find another one when the time comes.

And who could blame McVay for wanting to reduce his workload. He will have a very young family in the next couple of years and may want to spend more time with them.

We have a 2-3 year window to win another SB or two with our star players. After that it might be rough, but let's go and do it again.
Don’t really know how you can say that if the front office & Mcvay stay in place ?

There are a couple teams that are building there franchises right. I guess if your saying that then who QB
Is will make the biggest difference.

The Stafford window does not look good Imo.The Rams organization is in good hands though.

When he does take an analyst gig it will just serve as a soft reset to let him choose a new situation in his return to coaching. Because he will receive annual offers as an analyst to run teams.

If I am Stan I let him know that when he wants to be a GM he has that job with full control and all my resources. He would never leave due to the money I would throw at him. I'd have him wiping his ass with benjamins.

Lmao - yeah okay. I don’t get that at all? Guess my question would be how much are coach’s ,GM’s making each season vs. players & analyst.
College coaches do make bank? Even then I’m to lazy to look it up.It’s crazy the money involved that blows my mind. The average fan price increases how much each season as well?

The best thing is I will get to see Mcvay & team free minus beer money.

I don't think he will be leaving all that soon. Until the kids get to sports playing age, about 5 or 6, I think his coaching life will give him enough time with the family. I think he will want to be around to witness the extra-curricular activities and will get way more serious about being an analyst then. The other thing that will make him want to move on, is the situation he is working in and how he looks at building another winner after the AD, Ramsey, Stafford ect, depart. I think he will attack that as a challenge and look for some more SBs. Until then, I think he uses the TV talk as leverage and will stick with the team. So I think he will stay till about 45, depending on how fast his wife produces kids.

McVay is about toast here at 36. I've been hunting for a replacement.

This guy's only 23. Definitely worth a look!
