But isn't it fun to see though lol..... I just enjoy it because its what we do. We cheer, we go off the rails, but at the end, we still want the Rams to be the best team every year. I personally just choose to enjoy the process since no one truly knows how it will work out in the long run.

Same here. I LOVE this Draft speculation, dont understand those who dont and "cant wait for draft day." THOSE seem easily offended.

That was your guy if i recall correctly Philly, Iaone?
Not my guy, I have just been asking if it makes sense to take him if he could become an elite OG.

I will be okay with a number of guys. Sadiq, Lemon, Ioane, Cooper. I would also prefer a trade back and take Theineman, McNeil-Warren, although S may not be a pressing need, but both could be chess pieces on defense. I like Boston, CJ Allen, McDonald, and I would do back flips if they could somehow get Styles.

les and sean also NEVER give an answer that is
not meant to throw someone completely off the trail,,,
Do they? This offseason when they said, "we're going to attack the CB position," they were throwing us off the trail?

I find them to be very forthcoming.

Yes, not necessarily "your guy," but the guy you used as an example when responding to me. I got ya, and great example by the way, McShay thinks he's a potential Hall of Famer.

McShay doesnt have a record, he doesnt chase clicks. He covers the draft from every angle, and is always updating his mocks.
This is at the heart of it I think. McShay does a lot of work on the prospects and I often disagree with him, but that's fine because I know he's a guy doing the work.

The fun of this is in allowing yourself to have your own mind with it. Make the time to look at them, and decide. Hanging on the word of experts is no way to fan. That shit's entry level.

You are what your record SAYS you are. I bet Orlovsky and McShay have winning records. But go on some more about "hot takes."

Bet when Orlovsky was slurping Stafford all those years you didnt MIND Dan's "hot takes" so much.
As a QB? Orlovsky has a record of 2-10 and pretty rarely walked onto the field. I don't know what in his background really screams out that he knows what a QB should look like. If you're talking about record as a draft analyst, I'm not sure ANY analyst has a winning record. But then, I'm not sure what would be considered a winning record. Saying a QB will be good? Saying a QB is can't miss? elite? starter? To me, Orlovsky is just another talking head former player who figured out a way to make money talking football. Because he is able to spend more time watching tape than most of us, I'd agree that he may have more info. But in the end, he is just another opinion.

As far as McShay goes, I don't recall his takes on QBs in previous drafts and I doubt anyone else here does either save for a couple here and there.

It doesn't really matter. They are just fuel for talk. Some will buy in and others won't. I personally don't as I find most draft analysts just slightly better informed blowhards that often reach in order to have the latest hot take. They know no one will really call them out if they can continue to present well.

I tend to put more stock in what a few of the members here think about QBs than these talking heads. Members here are invested more in what would be good for ONE team - the Rams. Sometimes they even make good points and seem knowledgeable. Well... except that @Allen2McVay dude. He's hella sketchy.

Meh. Some will melt down no matter who we take. Probably most are more likely to offer words of justification even if they don't agree with the pick or trade to move up or down. But yeah. There would be some exploding noggins.

That's a ridiculous take and generalization. I think most here enjoy pre-draft conversations but there's a point where any sane person gets their fill of it and can't wait to get to the actual event.

I would say maybe one week before the draft, But we are five weeks out and baseball hasn't started yet, The draft is all someone like me has right now.. For me it's, paralysis by analysis, LOL

... I'm old, like Clint

Means ... "very suspicious," "extremely unsafe," or "highly unreliable". It combines "hella" (very/a lot) with "sketchy" (shady, untrustworthy, dangerous), indicating a high level of discomfort/doubt regarding a person.

Sounds logical, but never forget Quarterbacks get overdrafted. If for whatever reason Simpson is the apple of Sean's eye as the successor they will take him in that spot. I put it at a low percentage as well.
I’m hoping McVay has his eye on bigger juicier apples. But I fully defer to his judgement.

Be glad you don't live in Philly. It's 24/7 AJ Brown trade talk. The brief Rams/AJ trade was amusing. Hearing trade scenarios of Verse & Puka for Brown. Gotta love Birds fans.... idiots.

Shows you how shot I am, the correct phrase is "analysis by paralysis." LOL

Maybe that's what the Eagles asked for and the Rams said FUCK NO

Lotta lead paint still in the walls of Philly fan hovels and crack houses.
