I think I have made my point....

Anything is possible with the right combination of draft picks and players. Rams have some good situational players like Corum, Parkinson and maybe Ferguson a team like the Raiders in complete rebuilding mode can use.

I just feel Mendoza could be the best thing that could happen for the Rams and most fans. I think he has what it takes (A Brady type player)...... I hope the Ram brass take a shot at it.
The Rams trading up to 1 in the second worst idea of this draft season so far. The first worst is the Raiders trading out of it so congratulations I guess.

I think a WR would be a good plan B at 13, but a CB at 29????? That's a waste of 1st round draft pick IMO.
Ok, I'll jump in. Why the fuck would drafting a CB at #29 be a waste of a 1st round pick? Some of your comments are beyond ridiculous, such as this. I would be happy if we spent BOTH 1st round picks on CBs. Did you watch our talentless secondary late this season or do just NOT watch the games and show up here just to post some stupid shit. I'll now let you and Dieter get back at it, he seems to have your number and love how he exposes your lack of football knowledge.

Because the 3 CB we have signed for next season are more than adequate in his opinion for us to win the SB :D

Because there are already very good CB's with experience in FA. Rookie CB's don't always do well right out of college (Forbes for example).

We have a good enough defense to get us to the Super Bowl again as is, and I'm sure there will be more improvement with the current Rams CB's.... The offense fell short in not executing while in the RedZone in the NFC Championship game, that's why we didn't get to the Super Bowl....

IMO we just need a fast LB that can cover TE's in the middle of the field and RB's out of the backfield.... Landman was getting smoke badly on coverage, and QB's with scrambling abilities.

3" actually, Simpson listed at 6'2" and Stetson at 5"11", but hell, accuracy in your posts is almost constantly debated.
Hence the word "about 4 inches taller" (in my post used as an adverb, but can be used as a preposition)...... "About" means close to but not exactly if you were confused.

This is getting fun. Every time you post you say something g even dumber than your last post. Why the fuck would the Raiders have ANY interest in our TEs? They have Brock fucking Bowers and Michael Mayer at TE. Why the fuck would they be interested in Parkinson or Ferguson. Goddamn, I swear you just say stupid ass shit to elicit any and all comments.

If our defense was "good enough" to win the Super Bowl then we would have with this offense. Maybe lay off the weed in the morning so you actually make sense. Then again, reading your posts in the morning makes me want to light up right away.

If the Rams offense had executed on both 4th downs in the redzone, or opted for field goals, and the "lay down and try and catch a punt play" would had been succesful, the Rams would be Super Bowl Champs.

I hear a lot about McVay being a quarterback whisperer, but what is it based on?

Stafford was already a top passer before he came to the Rams. He just needed a team around him. And he did okay with Goff, but I don't think he got Goff playing above the level he's playing at now.

Mannion is out of the league. Perkins is out of the league. And Wentz and Walford are hardly top-tier QBs. And then there is Stetson Bennett.

I know he turned around Mayfield, somewhat, kinda, but am I missing something here? I probably am.
Goff went from 63.6 to 100.5 under mcvay...

2018 is still one of his best years.

Stafford just had his best year ever...

Mcvay was also a part if kirk cousins turning into a starter.

He made Goff better he also has Stafford playing at a great level. Bennett while not great also grew. As you said he also helped Mayfield take the next step.

Wolford and Perkins were both UDFA and there's a majority of the time not a lot you can do with them add to that Wolford was on his 3rd team in 3 years when he joined the Rams.

The only QB McVay has drafted has shown improvement though.

If Tariq Woolen does not taunt the Rams' sideline after the 3rd-and-12 incompletion, the Rams punt; and there is no Stafford-to-Nacua touchdown on the very next play.

But we will just ignore the big plays that went in the Rams' favor.

Can you re-fresh me on the second 4th down failure you have alluded to several times.
There was the turnover-on-downs, with five minutes to play. However, I do not remember another failed fourth down conversion; and the Team Stats show the Rams 1-for-2 on fourth down plays ... not 1-for-3.

I am actually kind of hoping I am wrong here and you will correct me ...

I find this funny
Detroit gets credit for Goff reaching an allegedly higher level, but McVay doesnt get credit for Stafford playing the best football of his life?

We would have won the Super Bowl with just above average secondary play. We scored points in every loss, what dont you fucking understand? Our pass defense was absolutely atrocious this year, wake the fuck up!

Yeah, in Bizarro World one would argue that EVERY loss is the offense fault. Clearly if they'd score more points then their opponent they win. Doesnt matter if the opponent scores 2 or 200!

That's a reasonable observations and is dually noted.

However, I feel the two failed 4th downs in the redzone and the fumbled punt, played a much bigger impact on the Rams not making it to the Super Bowl than anything our defense didn't do. (Rams -21 points)..... And your astute observation (Seahawks -7 points)....... I don't think I have to do the SUM of all differences for you.

OK but, as I asked above, what was the 2nd ‘failed 4th down play’?

You keep posting that there were two.

If that is the case allow me to correct my math (Rams -17).... (Seahawks -7).

Maybe I'm over stating it when the Rams opt for a field goal in the redzone as a failure, I should reference it more as a missed opportunity.
