Matthew Stafford

Come on, Matthew, you can do it
Pave the way, put your back into it

Tell us why
Show us how
Look at where you came from
Look at you now

Bridgewater and Carr and Prescott
Amateurs can f**king suck it
f**k their wives, drink their blood
Come on, Matt, get 'em!

Stafford had a really excellent game. It wasn't perfect and we have to get better on third downs. Kupp's incredible 3rd down juke play and Woods insane TD catch saved us from a 30% 3rd down clip. There was also almost a pick six that Stafford wanted back - for those that like to count those sorts of things. A low one to Jackson and one behind Woods over the middle that Woods plucked. An overthrow to Jefferson and a few others off target.

Overall, Stafford's long ball accuracy and several key throws over the middle was spot on.

The biggest improvement over last year is the long ball and the lack of turnovers. It might be enough to get us over the hump for all those picks we gave up. Great start to a long season.

Very poor arguement and disingenuous. We could show the pick 6 thrown by Russell Wilson to Darius Williams and slice in the same throw by Rick Mirer for a completion.

It doesn't make Rick Mirer a better QB.

Some of you go to great lengths to make Goff out to be a completely incompetent QB. It's disgraceful. The youngest QB to ever win an NFC Championship and 1 of 3 QB's to ever lead us to a Super Bowl over what 60 years.

Excellent start for Stafford!

Kudos to McVay for the more diverse play calling and play selection. Loved seeing us run multiple times out of the shotgun for example. We also saw a lot more shotgun in general. The play where Woods lined up as a RB along with Henderson was a neat wrinkle as well.

i get your point, but those aren’t the same things. Darious Williams made a GREAT play… Jared Goff just gave the ball to the other team.

I’d say that comp is much more disingenuous than the Goff/Stafford comp.

I don’t hate Goff, I’m just glad he’s gone.

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen you be so critical of our QB before. Especially after a win. What's changed?

Fake news. I pointed out Goff's bonehead plays all the time. Along with his good plays.

Notice your selective omission of my entire post where you conveniently cut out this part:

"Overall, Stafford's long ball accuracy and several key throws over the middle was spot on.

The biggest improvement over last year is the long ball and the lack of turnovers."

Come on man. No need to twist stuff. I gave Stafford mad props.

But did Stafford have some overthrows, low throws, behind the WR throws - yea he sure did.

It was Mcvay himself at the post conference that pointed out the improvement they have to make on 3rd downs. It's not an excessive critique, its just an area for improvement.

So calm down Karen :laugh1::fistbump1:

At least TexasRam is out here posting. Some others seem to have gone into "just wait until Stafford fucks up... ooooh, then I'll be back to learn all these suckas! " mode.

I loved Goff. I love Stafford. What can I say, I'm gay for Ram QB's that play well. If I'm honest, there is plenty of room for improvement with this offense. I'm not entirely sure Staff wasn't trying to throw that 3rd TD away, haha. Woods just grabbed that shit..... As he does. Love Bobby Trees so much....

Stafford is a superior QB to Goff, just admit it all you Goff apologist. The immediate future is bright with Stafford, so enjoy.
I think all of us Goff "apologists" agree that Stafford is better. He should be. He has 12 years experience to 5 for one thing. We arent blind. We just think he was not as bad as the Goff "haters" portray him. So lets get off the bullshit labeling of our ROD brothers and agree, we are pretty happy so far with Stafford and be grateful what Goff did do for us.
