I wonder how many other receivers could get their feet down in bounds that fast. Zero?I would have given it to him for the TD pass to Woods all by itself.
When your take STARTS with yelling and stuttering it’s a hard sell. Like a dog whimpering in the corner after being badly beaten…it’s hard to watch. He’s such a dumb-ass.
That pass impressed me., I don't think Goff makes that pass.I would have given it to him for the TD pass to Woods all by itself.
Stafford is a superior QB to Goff, just admit it all you Goff apologist. The immediate future is bright with Stafford, so enjoy.
I didn't see this before my post, but I wish I had. Great job.I think all of us Goff "apologists" agree that Stafford is better. He should be. He has 12 years experience to 5 for one thing. We arent blind. We just think he was not as bad as the Goff "haters" portray him. So lets get off the bullshit labeling of our ROD brothers and agree, we are pretty happy so far with Stafford and be grateful what Goff did do for us.
Who here doesn't already know and admit that???
Seriously, name two members here who you think fit your description of "Goff apologists" ?
Far more prevalent and obnoxious are these Ram fan conspiracy theories about secret Goff supporters secretly hoping Stafford fails. It's not only stupid, it's just not supported by any evidence. It's just a few people's "feelings".
I liked Goff. He was our most successful QB in like 20 years and he won some big games for us. I defended his play when people would talk all sorts of immature shit on him. But since he was dumped and Stafford has been a Ram, I've been all in on him.
If some posters need some sort of ongoing drama to feel like they are on the winning side of an argument, maybe go to a 49ers board to get that shit out of your system.... because here, at ROD, everybody wants the best for the Rams.
I noticed that too. And on the Stafford play there was a mini pick on the defender where the 2nd play there wasn't.What was the point of this useless tweet?
Kupp was open in the first play and the defender was in his hip pocket the second play.
So Goff made a horrible throw instead of throwing it away. Old news.
That pass impressed me., I don't think Goff makes that pass.
I liked Goff and I hope he does well. His performance under 7-9 Jeff Fisher versus his performance under McVay clearly shows how coaching makes a difference. I think Stafford has done a nice job so far but I don't like that we gave a King's ransom to get Goff and then gave another King's ransom to get Stafford and then giving up Goff in the process.Me gets the feeling that a number of people are projecting. They wanted Goff to fail (and yes we 100% had people like that on this board, because they thought Wentz was the better draft pick), so they think those who rooted for Goff want Stafford to fail like they did.
I just don't understand why people seem so dead set on "proving" that Goff wasn't as good as Stafford, or those who go out of their way to bring him up in every god damn fucking conversation in comparison.
Stafford makes a great throw and it's, "Oh Goff could have never!"... People really need to just fuck off with that shite, Goff won us a lot of games and he did that by making big throws. He scored long TD's with defenders in his face, he scored TD's by stepping up and avoiding the rush, he scored TD's while shaking off a defender, he scored TD's by going to his third or fourth progression.
Stafford is our QB now, and I'm very happy with him. I think he's a better QB, he's got more experience, and he throws a little bit better of a ball. That doesn't mean Goff isn't a good QB though.
After everything Goff did for the team, bringing us back into relevancy, winning games, getting us to the Super Bowl, and what he did for the community, helping children, reading to them, organising fundraisers for fire relief, it's honestly a really shitty look to have so many Rams fans go and trash him.
Lions fans don't trash Stafford, we should be doing the same.
