I don't believe it at all, but, what would you guys think is fair compensation for Stafford to Giants? Again, this is very hypothetical.

I'm not sure about anyone on the roster. They would not send us Banks, Nabers, Lawrence, Burns or Thomas. They don't have much outside that. I'd have interest in Nubin and T.Johnson. 2.34 would likely be the starting point.
Stafford's stated goals have been to win Super Bowls and to solidify his entry into the HOF and just how does he achieve that with the dysfunctional Giants?
Quick dicking around and pay the man

No one knows how this will play out. Both sides have a say in this, Stafford and Snead and his team. Reading between the lines based off of what Stafford's wife has said, ( he kind of communicates thru her at times to get his message out), there could be a divide developing between the two sides and who knows how that will go. Nothing would surprise me.

I chuckled at this originally, but then considered that Daboll is probably as desperate as any NFL coach has ever been. If the Rams could get their 2025 first round pick, or their 26’ first round pick it could pay off. With the Giants offensive line and Matthew’s lack of mobility, I doubt Stafford gets halfway through the season. So their 2026 pick could be top 5 and get the Rams in rage to draft a QB.

How would you feel about 2025 second and a 2026 first?
Your trade idea is what I was thinking is the most likely. #34 and a 2026 1st for Stafford. This puts Stafford's value at around pick #16 on the trade chart which is right in line with what Rodgers was traded for.

The other idea is #3 for Stafford and #26. Doubt the Giants would be willing to do that though.

I'm certain the Rams would jump at that offer. IMO, that is more then fair compensation. We can then immediately move to acquiring a QB or 2 for the next couple seasons (Z.Wilson, Fields, Darnold, Hooker, etc.). They are not Stafford, but, what do we have left with him, 1 to 2 seasons? Then what? A late 1st round stab at a QB? I still remember the lean years all too well.
Reports are that the Rams like Garoppolo. I can see them rolling with Jimmy G and drafting someone like Dart in the 2nd.

Or they wait until next year to address the future QB when it's a better QB draft and they have two 1st round picks.

No need to apologize, it's not the first or last wife of an NFL player that'll be annoying. Just was pointing out how she just doesn't ever shut the hell up and let whatever happens happen.

Imagine being Stafford. Poor guy lol. JK I'm sure he's happy.

I am tired of all this bullshit with Stafford and his wife. I mean how many millions is enough. It seems like it is time to move on from his arse and get what you can for him while he still has some value. I for one am ready to turn the page and rebuild this offense.

I'd love either trade for compensation value if it indeed doesn't work out with Stafford. I want him in horns but yeah we don't know what his ask is. His wife saying the ball is our court is such a bullshit PR play on her part because for all we know they may have asked for a ridiculous on his contract restructure. I just know I would like her to shut up and let the process play out. Hopefully everything works out one way or another.

Stafford will retire a Ram, I could be completely off base but why in the world would we ever ever trade him. Early offseason drama. Kelly go back to your Sleep Number and awesome kids.

Eagles 28 Rams 22. So close divisional round, we had them. Stafford is a fucking stud QB. Our (off season Offense will revolve around him).

If the Rams managed to trade Goff and first rd picks for Stafford, win a Super Bowl and then trade Stafford for first rd picks I’d have to declare the Rams 100% pure genius.

Gotta be honest, I'd take that deal and re-sign Jimmy.
